If Harbaugh goes to the Chargers Oregon will be rejoicing. The Washington coach already left for Alabama. Now if Harbaugh leaves that will eliminate 2 coaches that would beat the Ducks consistently.

insane. I'm sure there is more. Lol
Yes, but aren't a number of this year's QBs in draft going to NFC. Then the young bucks currently in the NFC. It's gonna even out a bit over the next couple of years. I will include Brock in the young buck NFC group but boy, after this draft, the NFC could take a step forward in QBs. Brock is really gonna be compared to the young class at contract time.
That aside, I'm a Herbert ball hugger. Can't help it. I would watch Chargers just to see him and dream he were a 9er. Harbaugh gonna snap that team into deep playoffs lickity split.

We hadn't made the playoffs in 8 years. He was like 44-19 or something. It's not his fault we bombed after we fired him.

Couldn't build the team
Couldn't coach up players
had a ton of players with off field issues
promised an offense that never came
created separation in the Org
Winning was fine in the beginning, but it was due to having a team already in place which he couldn't maintain
I called he would go to SD, as the team is already there. Will he learn from past mistakes ?

Tomsula technically won a 'ship before Jimbo
Jim Tomsula just won the championship in the European League of Football and was named Coach of the Year

His squad, the Rhein Fire, went 14-0 this year and won by an average of 27 points per game 😳pic.twitter.com/yxqPMHbhtU

I agree with this all.
His act was so cool the first year.
Then it just wore on me.
Hated his offense.
Cant take away his playoff run and SB appearance. (although i think he should have won)
Replacing him with Tomsula was donkey business and lame.

I think he's putting too much of our decline during that time solely on Harbaugh, but I get what 49AllTheTime is saying. Jim's last year we went 8-8 and the roster quickly deteriorating the next two years, which was only compounded by Patrick Willis retiring and Frank Gore leaving.

It was similar in the Championship game vs Seattle. We were far too reliant on fades to Crabtree.
