Not really. Offense was propped up by Fangio magic outside of what Kap brought to table.

Greg Roman proved consistently at other stops he had no idea about a pass game. Chryst proved he was useless here. Harbaugh offensive staff was awful outside of Rathman.

Raiders and Patriots had more talent than 2015-2016 49ers.

Regardless you can't blame Kyle for not developing all his qbs but give Harbaugh a pass for how Kap looked.

Yes agree, he will have more control. But he still needs a good GM, not a yes man that won't put the work in and be a wimp when Jimmy says/does something the GM disagrees with.

Good example is John Lynch, I doubt he's a yes man to Kyle. He'll support Kyle if he wants Joe Williams but he'll voice his concerns. Jim needs a guy like that in his corner.

GMs being interviewed by the Chargers all have Harbaugh connections.
quite a few have some connections to Harbaugh. Brandon Brown has been mentioned by Albert Breer as a candidate that could fit that mold.
