Me too!

49er Greats (Coaches Addition):

1. Bill Walsh
2. George Seifert
3. Jim Harbaugh
KS is superior to Harbaugh, easily

I can't believe some people. Makes me embarrassed for the fanbase to think so highly of harbaugh...Fangio deserves more credit turning around that squad that Scott McCloughan built.

LOL at this post.

Harbaugh was a damn good coach. Was he perfect? No not by a long shot. But to minimize him as a coach and give all the credit to Fangio is laughable at best and downright trolling at worst.

Just because Shanahan rightfully is thought of as a better coach than Harbaugh doesn't mean Harbaugh wasn't a really good coach for us.

The dangerous part is he hasn't learned from his mistakes. Roman and Trestman as your brain trust on offense is not a recipe for success in 2024.

Yup. His passing game coordinator has come from run first systems. His assistant QB coach is Jonathan Goodwin. Shane Day is the QB coach. Least the WR coach is decent but can't make up for rest.

Don't see a lot of hope for their passing offense.

The Niners center from the Harbaugh years? At least I think that was his name

That's the one.

It's a poor offensive coaching staff much like what he had here. Hasn't learned.

Agree with this, especially the last sentence.

If Harbaugh wins a Superbowl with the chargers what do we say then. It's the Andy Reid syndrome and Kyle will win one with his next team lol. I still think Shanahan was a little better coach than the Harbaugh we had but he was great for us. I loved the way he almost took a team to the superbowl that had almost all of the same players the year before with Chip Kelly. He was knee bounce away from the superbowl and got us there the next year. Roman and the flag pattern over and over again to crap tree AHH, still haunts me.
Trade Keenan Allen to the Bears for a 4th round pick. Ummm. That makes no sense. NONE. Dumbest move ever. He's their best weapon.

Had to get the under the cap somehow

Remember when we had to get rid of T.O and a bunch of players due to cap hell?

Just an awful way to get under the cap. It's Herbert's best weapon. Now they are bare and have to face Mahomes. It won't work well.

Guess they are going to rely on Quentin Johnson whom they spent a first on last year to be WR1. The offensive skills positions as a whole looks kinda bare bones... Will Dissly is currently the starting TE and Gus Edwards is RB1.

Gus Edwards will probably catch 2 passes and run for 17 TDs
