Y'all trolling. Viking hats don't say that. This is a niner hat
Jim reportedly shut down all music at chargers OTAs. You know he's going to instill discipline there whether the players like it or not.

I wouldn't categorize the 9ers during Jims tenure in SF as disciplined. Especially off the field.

You act like these players are children and JH is a bad parent, and thus responsible for their actions.

Hes responsible for playing a guy 2 days after driving a car into a tree drunk.

It's not his fault these guys do what they do but he's also not a Bellicheck. Much more like Pete. If they can help win he will overlook off field.

Also 9ers were penalized a ton under him. Top 10 3 out of 4 years.

clownish that that's your takeaway from that era of football, or when it comes to his tactics, coaching, etc. dude just won the NC
you are wrapped up in silly lil footnotes from over a decade ago
check the thread, this is LAC HC thread, how about a real convo on the contrast of styles with Reid and Harbs, or him walking into a city he wore the uniform, he has Mack and Bosa, and a FQB entering his prime, there is good convo to be had here, aldon aint it

Lol but he did run insanely difficult camps. He lived by "gotta build calluses". Will be interesting how these guys respond to it. I think they'll be fine, only way it'll become an issue if they start losing.

the real issue, IMO, is going to be the type of offense they want to run. It's archaic, unless Roman makes some big jumps with his WR trees.

Roman ppl dog him, but I think in 2012, we put up most yds in franchise history in a game. More than Joe, Steve, Rice, anyone. He also led NFL in TD passes with Lamar and won MVP. I think Gus Edwards will rush for 17 TDs he'll be the drive finisher..

On O they have Herbert, Edwards, Slater joined by top pick OT, so with OL, QB solved, I expect them to run and throw well.

It's a clownish takeaway that an undisciplined over penalized team with players getting arrested consistently wasn't disciplined?

He also never wore any uniform in Los Angeles.

I think his style will not succeed. He doesn't have the talent on offense that he had here so when teams stop the run there won't be much of a plan b. If he jettisons Roman and find a real OC he has a chance to build something if his DC is for real in the pros. Until then I see maybe the 9th best team in AFC.
