I agree, the Roman offense is basically the run heavy Bo Schembechler offense. It's Shane Day that I think can evolve Harbaugh's offense past Rome's heyday.

Yeah. His time here was pretty much the swan song of you can win with a power o and great d. This time around he's going to have to adjust to the modern game and I don't think that's in him.

I disagree, I think Harbaugh and Roman will be fine, they at least got a much better QB to start with and an already solid defense. At worst I see Harbaugh and the Chargers in second in the AFCW. Everywhere that Harbaugh has gone he's won at. Dude may be somewhat of a prick but players buy into him.

Yeah I think harbaugh is going to instantly make the Chargers contenders

Would be a good bet based on his history of dong just that.

Took our scrubs in 2011 with no offseason (lockout) and likely would have won the Super Bowl if Kyle Williams didn't go full retard.
they weren't scrubs and going against a prime Brady is no easy task

I love how Patrick Willis and Justin Smith, who were already All Pro before Harbaugh showed up, are scrubs. Add in Frank Gore, Vernon Davis, top picks Anthony Davis and Mike Iupati, etc. Sounds like scrubs to me. We don't need to minimize our talent to praise Harbaugh.

Totally agree with you on the prime Brady comment and thar our guys weren't scrubs. I think the Patriots in 2011 beat us. Belichek would've held that offense to 10 - 12 points.

It's the same lie being told about Michigan. Brady Hoke had back to back top 5 recruiting classes. Just because the previous guys couldn't get the most out of players doesn't make them scrubs.

Scrubs are what Kyle came into in 2017.

A very talented roster without a FQB that finally got a good Head Coach (and DC) to match the overall talent.

Harb couldn't get over the hump until OSU's HC left
About what you expect. Good d but their offense just isn't going to compete against KC and the likes.

They may win 10 games but they're no threat.

We were so a threat when it mattered!

They aren't, but I'm hoping they can get 35-40 mins TOP against KC. That will be their best chance based on how they were playing week 1 and Harbaugh NFL teams historically.
Coach Jim Harbaugh 2 - 0. Michigan already dropping too.

he really is. I will always remember 2011-2013 fondly, those were amazing years to be a 49er fan.

Everywhere he goes he wins. It's a shame the Yorks ran him out of town. 2nd favorite HC behind Walsh. You could always count on those 49ers to show up, play hard and know the game plan. Plus those teams were physical as hell.

Panthers may challenge for 0-17 or 1-16. Chargers took care of business today, but that's not a win that impresses me.

We'll see how they do against Pittsburgh and Kansas City the next two weeks. If they win both of those - especially the latter - I'll be impressed.
