Yup. The records don't lie. JH has a way better resume. He's 144–52 in college and 51-22 in the NFL.

Shanny is 69–56 in the NFL and didn't need to grind his way through the college ranks because daddy gave him a free pass to the NFL.

The same people who "hated" Harnaugh because he lost a super bowl since that is apparently the worst thing ever, now swing from the nuts of a guy who lost two.

Agreed. This guy immediately elevates teams and if he had the roster we did the last several seasons he'd have sealed the deal. He made Alex Smith a good qb and winner; says a lot.

Took Kaepernick to a super bowl and an nfcc took Smith to an nfcc. Thats amazing. All while being handcuffed by a the moronic spoiled owner's kid.

His first year was a strike shortened season and still was a Kyle Williams brain fart away from a superbowl which we likely win.

Shanahan had to build his own team, I don't remember JH doing that. Dude walked into a 9ers organization with Willis, Bowman, Justin Smith, Joe Staley, Frank Gore, Alex Smith, Crabtree, Dason Goldson and so on.....

Shanahan DID have to grind his way into the NFL he started as a graduate assistant in the NFL then worked his way up to quality control for two seasons in Tampa Bay under JON GRUDEN!!! Then worked under Gary Kubiak. It wasn't his daddy so stop with the false accusations, you're gonna fault Shanahan for being the son of Mike Shanahan, didn't know he could choose where to be born.

Lol Alex Smith MANAGED the team to a Super Bowl. Just as you people claim Jimmy G did.

And again, look what JH walked into, the Chargers roster was the most built roster out of all the jobs that were available. Lets not act like Justin Herbert is some chump, he only threw for 4,000 yards as a rookie.

Kyle is a better Xs and Os guy but Harbaugh is a better coach. He knows how to push the right buttons to get players to elevate their game. He's a rah-rah guy and players love it. At least for a few seasons. Then it gets old and the players tune out as the act wears thin. It's one reason he's moved around a lot.

Purdy is much better than the two I mentioned. It's not close. Jimmy was carried by his defense. Which was better then. He was along for the ride. They would hide him and limit his throws in the playoffs. Purdy is far better. Much more to work with.
