Well s**t. He made the playoffs in his 1st year. If the game has passed him by what the hell does that mean for Kyle whose team finished last in the division? She he just quit?

He took over a playoff team. Other than last year with the injuries the team had several straight years of playoffs. Let's not act like he took the jags out the jets there.

Never understood the hate for Harbaugh dude is a winner and passionate. Love the way he coaches build the trenches and play physical. He single handedly resurrected Alex Smiths career. Took the exact same 9ers team that was pathetic for a better part of a decade and turned them into a juggernaut went to Michigan and did the same thing.

Jim Harbaugh is a really good coach but not a great coach. Plus at the end of the day, you're not gonna win a lot of games if your QB is playing like Justin Herbert did against the Texans.
Herbert is a weird case.
I mean, he's someone that have all the tools to be a top 5 QB. He has a bazooka, he's athletic, tall, smart and seems to be a good leader and yet he has two PO appearances in 5 seasons for two losses. And I know that he didn't have a ton of good playmakers around him this season but he still had some good players to help him, a good O-Line and a strong defense. Plus the Texans weren't as good offensively as they were last season and specially CJ Stroud.

What are you taking about? LAC went 10-7 in 2022 and lost in the WC game. Before that it was 2018 and before that 2013. The last consecutive playoffs was back in SD from 2006-09. FWIW Jacksonville made the playoffs in 2022 going 1-1 and 2017, 2-1 losing in the AFC title game.

He's a winner of inferior teams. He can't beat even or better teams and coaches. Doesn't know offense and his shtick gets old

I think its because the Chargers were thought to be underachievers and not the typical non playoff team. Its part of the reason both Anthony Lynn and Brandon Staley were fired.

I'll admit I didn't think they would at first, then saw their weak schedule and said 10 wins was very attainable. Was one game better than I thought they'd be.

Who said he'd need years to make the playoffs though? I'd like to see that post.
I love Harbaugh, but like Kyle has failed to adapt. He is still hanging his hat on this Greg Roman offense. You could see all the 49er offensive failures from 2011-2014 while watching game yesterday.

Justin Herbert threw just one touchdown pass in his last playoff game in 2023. Was that Romans fault as well?

He wasn't all time bad the last time now was he.

A lot of Lamar's playoff struggled can be traced to Roman however.

He isn't a good playcaller.

Alex Smith was just fine with Greg Roman as his OC.
