Fangio will run a 3-4 in CHI.

The only good luck I'll wish for McDonald is that he doesn't get injured. Hang in there, Ray. Have a nice career. Take some plays off. Be underwhelming for the Bears. Miss a lot of tackles and don't get to the QB when you play the Niners.

Not gonna lie, the thought of Fangio devising a gameplan to go after Kaepernick is pretty frightening to me.

I don't know that I ever saw a Fangio game plan that involved going after the QB with anything but the front 4. There was a little blitzing, but not much. And I really don't think Fangio is the kind of DC who would risk blitzing too much with a QB like Kaepernick. It's just that if everyone runs past him, he can rip off an 80 yard TD scramble. Fangio knows that. He'll drop everyone back and try to get as much pressure with his front four just like he did with the Niners. He'll assume Kaepernick can't sustain a drive and try to just limit the offense to small plays. That's his deal.
