This, f**k suspending him, just ban him forever and I guarantee no other coach will have their hands on any similar type of shenanigans.

I don't want to see any of this any more... glad we put it on those b*****s
Anyone who knowingly participated in a plan to reward players for intentionally injuring other players should be open to criminal charges for criminal conspiracy to commit a felony. They should also be liable for civil penalties for anyone who was injured as a result of their criminal conspiracy.

They should lay down a max penalty, something NCAA/USC style; disallow them into the playoffs for a year or two, that would be the most agonizing penalty in the world of the NFL for a franchise as good as theirs is (to make an example of safety).

wow 2 years without being able to play in the playoffs... Resurrect the brown paper bags again aints' fans this is gonna be an epic dark age for your team.
going conspiracy theory on this but anybody think.....
the reason they traded their 1st last year was because they thought something could come out this year about the investigation?
and Williams leaving was so NO could get a new DC so they wouldn't be hit harder by his possible suspension or banishment?

I thought I was the only person that noticed this. Yes, they're blitz happy but they rarely get home to the QB and routinely get torched through the air. Their front seven isn't anything to write home about either.

WOW! That wasn't even hidden at all, wish they would've shown which way the ball actually went, totally a dirty play.

The media guys are saying that if this were the NCAA they would lose their SB title just like USC did when the Reggie Bush situation happened. But I wouldn't be surprised one bit if they combine the NCAAs "lack of institutional control" and "death penalty" punishments in order to make an example of the saints.

A player said on twitter something like this "If I'm out there thinking about an extra thousand I could make by hitting a guy I would probably play pretty badly" - I completely agree, if your just trying to hit a guy you forget your technique and could get burned way easy.

possibly
I said this to some of my friends too, I think they followed the reasoning of "Look we didn't renew his contract, we knew it was wrong, please dont punish us too badly". I think it was cop out by not renewing his deal, but I doubt the NFL will be fooled by it.
