This continued 'resistance' by the Saints players just makes them (and the team) look even more worse. They need to take a page from Gregg Williams (ironically) and take a hike for a year or so.

Goodell said Friday that he notified Jonathan Vilma, Will Smith, Scott Fujita and Anthony Hargrove, as well as the NFL Players Association, that Tagliabue would be the hearing officer to "decide the appeals and bring the matter to a prompt and fair conclusion."

Vilma needs to give it up. Much as I hate Goodell, I seriously doubt he one day just up and decided to make up this whole thing, and get a bunch of people to lie for no reason.

they havent really done much to implicate there innocence also, everyone player on the team other then a select few pretty just do nothing but plead the fifth.They got caught need to deal with it and move on.

So, just days after Tags was appointed - with the seeming positive vibes of D. Smith, the NFLPA and even direct statements from Vilma saying "I think it's a good first step for Paul to be the neutral arbitrator" - the NFLPA and the 4 Bounty players have filed a motion to have Tags removed.
