The guy can put together a team and can draft, the guy just cant get himself together.

Williams has reportedly taken on an "increased role," likely at McCloughan's expense. McCloughan "has nothing to do with anything and has not for a very long time," according to Russell. McCloughan is allegedly missing the Combine due to the passing of his 100-year-old grandmother. Online records show McCloughan's grandmother passed away on February 6. Yeah I'm not buying the 100 y/o grandmother excuse. Maybe she did die but if my 100 y/o grandmother died, I'd say she lived a damn good life.

It's clear McCloughan has done something to piss off the organization and it's probably that he was caught red handed with a half empty bottle of Jack!

This thing is looking worse by the day. Meanhwhile, SF organization is starting to get their sh*t together. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

It could point to a chaotic situation that keeps Cousins there this year in order to keep some sense of cohesion.

I've poked fun of his issues with drinking before.

It's easy to pick a guy apart when he's down and dealing with personal issues.

Hope he gets the help he needs.

Poor guy. It isn't easy trying to beat that addictive gene. A team would be smart to hire him as an assistant GM where they can still function if he goes through a relapse. He just can't be the one running the show and the show going to s**t when he relapses.
