it is all of his fault.
all of it.
the spread killed the cardinals all game. at no point did it not work. uptempo killed them as well
why did we go away from it for a large portion of the game?
this is on the offense
we should put up points put up all the points. the defense gave up 23 points but really only 20 crucial points.

20 should be good enough to win with this offense.

and if we score 21-6 and come out and score 28-6 like we should have this is a completely different damn game

we turn it off every week

it used to be we couldn't finish in the red zone

now we can't finish whole halves of football games

the regression is LOUD AND CLEAR
and anyone saying otherwise deserves what we're going to be getting from week to week.

something is working and they can't stop it. even in the 2nd half

and we decide to not do it
and lose our entire offensive rhythm.

why was lloyd on the field at any point
Move up and down the field in a hurry up offense.....stops using it

No no you're going to hear all week that ...

"guys have to execute"
"we have to not have turnovers" (oh that one can't be used this week)
"the problems are fixable"
"we were 1 and 2 at this point last year"
"well when I actually break down the film and see what Roman is doing, it's actually a good play"

Don't believe your eyes .... it's YOU not them right??

0 touchdowns in the 2nd half that's on the players? or is that on a coach who has regressed?

when the other team makes an adjustment at half time roman doesn't and look at what happens... 1 time we can say we were coasting

2nd game we can say it was a fluke

3rd game it's a f**king pattern.

a pattern that will continue as long as we let this useless sack of s**t command our offense.

14 points was PUTRID

14 points when we could have easily put up 28-35

is unacceptable.

now we see why he doesn't get a head coaching job
they interview him and he says the b******t that he wants to do and they say no than

not trying to hear it at all. this team missing key components is better than the bears and the cardinals and we lost to them both.

0 points in the 2nd half today.

that is on the coordinator who makes adjustments when he shouldn't

and doesn't when he should.
49ers have scored 3 point after halftime.
49ers have given up 52 points after halftime.
I just don't see why he always goes away from whatever works on a team & never continues to do it or bring it back when we lose momentum. I could see this guy being gone very soon as a scapegoat firing

wouldn't be scapegoat it would be justified.

you can't not produce a td in the first 3 games of the season in the 2nd half and keep your job

0 td's will point to a coach who at halftime doesn't make adjustments when the other team does.

or makes adjustments when he shouldn't

and he's too stupid to see something is working so let's keep doing it until they stop it

that's just common sense. and he doesn't have it

He'll tear up a box of Twinkies in 59 seconds flat!
I am no fan of Roman, but at least he threw the ball a bit this week. I didn't think I'd ever see this team line up with 5 receivers. The problem with his offense is that he calls it like an 8 year old kid playing a video game. No continuity, random head scratching calls. Doesn't stick with things that work. Maddening. But the sad thing is that we'd still win these games if we had ANYONE in the defensive backfield who could cover someone down the field. Our DBs are just terrible...

Yeah, CC, I watched while others made bold predictions for the new PASSING game, but after what we just saw, I truly wonder. The other thing, statistics aside, is the slowness of kap getting the ball gone. In the 2nd half on sun nite, I kept seeing this weird thing on the TV screen. Kap running around with his arm raised , death grip on the ball, and he stayed like that while scrambling. Besides looking silly and a great setup for a fumble, it reminded me that all the great ones, have the ball gone in 2.5 seconds or less. With kap and romn's stupid 5 or worse, 7 step drop, kap gets swarmed by a weakened yet tough team like the Bears.

A question. Why in the world can't kap be taught to get the damn ball gone in under 2.5 seconds. He literally NEVER does, but he truly should. If he wants to be great, he HAS to learn how to do that. When you have Dumbo upstairs, however, calling for these long developing 7 step drops, or even 5 steps, you blow thru not 2.5 seconds, but 3.5 seconds. Doesn't romn ever stop and think, "Jeez, our OL isn't blocking very well , so ok, we'll throw a pass that takes less than 4 seconds to develop?" And then look at that idiocy and we wish he would think, "unnh oh, better get the ball gone faster...need a quick hitting play." That doesn't happen much if ever, mainly because HaRo don't even think about it. And that is exactly why I wonder if Jed and Trent are going to extend Coach H. romn I could care less about. But I wonder if JH is actually going to be invited back if he doesn't take this team to the SB and win it.

What a great post this is Doc... I have been saying the exact same thing for literally years. now... The only reason to let the play clock go to zero ever, is if it at the end of a game and your team has the ball and the lead. This team has no offensive rhythm, and when it takes 30-40 seconds per play, it is not hard to figure out why. Today, when they were going to a no-huddle, they were much more effective. Then, of course, they abandoned that strategy in the second half. Even worse perhaps, when this happens, we have no real offensive identity.

To me, the quality of any coach or coordinator is measured in how much he gets out of the talent he is provided. Well, the Niners have arguably a top-five offensive team in terms of talent...but it sure isn't resulting in more points...and really hasn't since Roman has been the OC...

It's a broken record with HaRo....yeah, I know, chances are this team would've still been a 7-9 type team without Harbaugh, there's no question he has played a major part in turning this franchise around. But it is getting just So. F***ing. Old. seeing the same thing over and over, something works but for whatever reason--to chew up clock, just to be cute, whatever--they stop doing it.

the clock has always been on the coach. they have to get the call in and then kap can do his thing. if they don't on time then he doesn't

it's only an issue when they make it one.

who knows what the f**k the coordinator is doing up there while a play is actually happening.

score 50 then you can get cute

"If you noticed, we're definitely the type of people to hold our ace card under our leg and wait for the right time to pull it out," Roman said with a sly smile Saturday night

how can the original question of the post be a question anymore
We can lock this now. I know his pass o was never that great but what the heck happened to that creative run game we use to have? shifts, counters, jet sweeps, pulls, all that. now it seems like the same old over and over.
