#1 Offense 3 games in, #1 rushing attack, #1 offense in scoring points, #7 in passing. Where did this football savant come from?

Was it Harbaugh, Smith or Kap holding him back? lol

and to think just 3 years ago Buffalo fired him as their OC lol

I am no fan of Roman, but at least he threw the ball a bit this week. I didn't think I'd ever see this team line up with 5 receivers. The problem with his offense is that he calls it like an 8 year old kid playing a video game. No continuity, random head scratching calls. Doesn't stick with things that work. Maddening. But the sad thing is that we'd still win these games if we had ANYONE in the defensive backfield who could cover someone down the field. Our DBs are just terrible...

On why he didn't stick with the plays that were working.

"... didn't get back to those plays in the script."

It helps when you have Vick 2.0

Which was dumb. The offense was far from the problem on that team.
Hes a great OC and I hope he never changes his way because I have Mark Ingram as my RB and he needs to keep giving him the ball.
No.

Greg Roman... Has Randy Moss.... Uses him as a decoy... genius.

People have to keep in mind... there was a time where Baalke looked sane... This numb nut helped that happen.

The league went full on passing a few years back. The Ravens have countered with running the football behind big bodies on the o-line, TE, and FB to attack defenses stocked with smaller LB's designed to stop the pass. If appropriate personnel groupings to counter the pass-oriented defenses make him good then he's good. I'm certainly not going to argue that he's a top X's and O's guy...Especially if his plays look more like high school football than the pros.
