Sherman came off like a bigger douche than he probably is. I'm no skip fan but he was right. Sherman doesn't let his play speak for itself because all he does is flap his gums about himself. He absolutely took everything personal and was attacking skip and completely avoided answering all the legitimate questions being asked. Saying s**t like "I'm better than you at life"? What a f**king dumbs**t. I give him no credit for "destroying" skip here. You look at the way Suggs goes at skip and I give him credit. This douche sounds like an angry kid that was on the verge of crying the whole time. He needs to take some public speaking classes or something.

It's amazing to me that people get so worked up about First Take. Who cares? Just don't watch it. There are like 800 TV channels.
I am not defending this segment - http://youtu.be/j6x-O3kb1sI - I thought it was awful and embarrassing to everyone involved. Seriously.
But what bothers me about the reaction to that segment is people saying Richard Sherman "won." Nobody won. Everyone lost. Including ESPN.

I dont like the guy as a person, but right now he is better than Revis IMO. Revis is damn good, but Sherman is in his second year, and had an amazing season in 2012. IMO he will have a better career than Revis.

Originally posted by IdahoNiner:Its funny why? I dont find it very funny considering we play him twice a year. Revis hasnt been the same the last one or two years prior to injury, and who knows what he comes back like after the injury.
Compareing their first two years in the league, they are very similar, but Shermans #s are slightly better.
Revis
2007- 87 COMB-1 FF- 3 INT- 20 YDS- 17 PD
2008- 58 COMB- 1 FF- 5 INT- 38 YDS- 16 PD
Sherman
2011- 55 COMB- 1 FF- 4 INT- 45 YDS- 17 PD
2012- 64 COMB- 3 FF- 8 INT- 57 YDS- 24 PD
Both had 1 Sack and 1 TD in their first two seasons.
IMO right now, if i was chooseing between sherman or Revis as the CB i want for my franchise, off the field issues aside,(one motor mouth, and one that thinks he should be the highest paid defensive player in football) I Choose Sherman, simple as that. He has ony been playing CB for 4 seasons total in his entire football career. He is gonna get better.
