Same here, I don't know why but I really enjoyed watching the way he played. I still have his jersey actually.
Same! Still have my Garcia jersey, but it doesn't fit me anymore. He was the definition of a gamer.

Damn, he went all out on that house. Probably couldn't keep up with the payments. Can't make starting QB money forever lol.

i'll bet this happens to 90% of NFL players. It's like they don't even think about the fact that their career/money will end at some point.

Probably. Too many of them go broke despite earning millions during their career.

I don't think it's that. I've heard from some of his old friends in Gilroy that he made some very smart investments and still has a lot of money. He's selling the home because he's moving to Canada to take the job of quarterbacks coach for the Montreal Alouttes, a CFL team.

Ahh, that makes more sense. Didn't know he got a coaching job in Canada. Good for him.

He was a good QB that didn't get much fan fare at all. In terms of 9er QBs in the last 3 decades, I'd put him 3rd. Had a lot of limitations but was able to make plays.

He interviewed for Rams Qb coach job in Feb. and Jeff Fisher was impressed although Chris Weinke got Qb job.

Garcia is addition to staff. He replaces no one.
Looks like a good add.

Good hire by the Rams. Let Garcia wet his beak with another NFL team. If he comes up better than good, in time im sure when the 49ers come calling, the prodigal son will answer.
