No... he would be two thirds of the way down field blanketed by an outside linebacker and would never had the pass thrown to him

LOL. Damn.

Nah, you know how Jimmy G likes to throw those int into triple coverage. He would've thrown it and Crabtree wouldn't have dropped it.

Lol let it go, Crabtree is trash. He had one good year bc Cooper was getting all the attention. Hes slow, average hands, and a teenage girl attitude.

that statement alone makes your opinion invalid. BEST HANDS IN THE GAME, VETERAN LEADERSHIP.

COOPER IS TRASH. I'm sure you were one of them claiming Dallas over paid, now you use him as a counter argument.
He would mess everything up attitude wise..him and sherm can't be near each other.

Crabs was a superstar in college. Alot of good college players struggling to get noticed had to watch him get all the limelight.

I don't even understand the quote. Maybe time has caused some of us to forget how we looked down the stretch in 2012. The defense began to fold and surrender a lot of points, which means we needed a QB that needed to win the game for the team. That wasn't ever Alex Smith. It wouldn't have even come down to the final play with Smith as QB. Smith also doesn't lead a comeback verses Atlanta. And I like Alex Smith. But I don't see it.

How do you not understand the quote? lol. maybe try using the smart part of your brain.

Or you can recall what Alex Smith's abilities really were. Tell me about all of those epic Alex Smith 14 + point comebacks.

Kap set the tone for that game throwing an int. I don't believe with Alex at QB that we get behind that much. He was smarter with the football than Kap was.

but hey, hindsight is 20/20.
There's a reason why this guy isn't on a team with so many looking for wrs he's lost a step when he was a #2 to begin with and he seems to have the mentality of "it's not me, it's you"

Alex was 1/11 on third down in the NFCCG vs NYG. Had we converted a couple of those down the stretch our OL would have run al over NE that year. 2011 was the best year our defense had and we would have won it all if only Alex could've done something on third down instead of dink and dunk and throw the ball out of bounds. Harbaugh made the change because Kap brought the big play ability or the explosive plays that Alex didn't unles Vernon Davis turned a short pass into a house call

The pick came when the fist half was almost over, and the Ravens didn't even score off of it (tried the fake FG). The Ravens had already put up 14 pts. The tone was already set for the defense lol.

The offense moved the ball it just didn't translate to points in the first half, so there's no excuse for the defense needing rest. The offense sustained drives.

Alex was not going to score 30 pts on a defense that clowned Manning and Brady, like Kap did. You can't honestly believe a QB that always loses high scoring games, almost never makes comebacks, has a 2-6 playoff record, and can't carry a bad defense was going to win that game. There's no way that QB even makes it through those playoffs. Hindsight is apparently not 20/20 for you.

I could see Malcom if he had something in the tank. He knows the playbook. But crabs, oh hell no.
How about now? Not advocating, wondering. If Sanders is out an extended period of time and especially if both he and Kittle are out?
Deserves at least a workout. But we probably won't do anything
