crabman, that was behind him and on his shoelaces...one handed. And no, I have NEVER seen that catch before. Africkingmazing.
I was delighted to get him, didn't cost that much($6 mil or thereabouts) and 1 yr. Figured one and done. Not now. Good Lord that guy is like a running piece of flypaper out there. He catches everything...and roman hasn't even used him yet with how he beat us last yr....jumpballs on OOB marker just past the 1st down marker...or in EZ. He stays...whatever we have to do.

Not this yr, but RIGHT NOW, this 3-some is starting to look much like last yrs SB Raven's 3 some, one of whom is in the photo above. And as I recall, we did an awful job of stopping those three.
Also, in the SEA game kap made two scramble passes that were heaters, sidearmed and thrown right on OOB line, and were basically balls that looked like no one could catch, yet Boldin snagged one, and crbs the other. Those were the two most impressive catches...and throws...I have seen in a long, long time.

could you imagine what a QB like Manning or Brady could do with these 3?

It's hard to say Chaz, but is there another 3 some out there right now that can bring the fury like these 3 guys? I remember rice and clark and J.Taylor and others, but this 3 some is just plain scary. The real problem is we have an OC who doesn't know his azz from his elbow re: how to use these 3 guys. By rights we should be on top of the heap...but thanks to roman it seems we are still trying to find our way. Incredible.
for the record, Jerry and JT were out best twosome ever. But as 3 some, I would have to give it to these guys.

Dude is one of those NFL player that got better with age. Might be a bit slow but speed is not his game. Physical play, a bit of quickness and a lot of fight for the ball when thrown his way.

He reminds me of a Fred Baletnikoff in todays game...No Speed needed. Then when I think about speed what did R Niamiah (sp) ever bring to the 49ers?

That one reason, if the stories are true, that Manning didn't want to come here. Among of the reasons as well.

If we didn't get Boldin - we wouldn't be in the playoffs.
We'd be foolish not to keep him and get 2 WR in the draft.
If we lose him and Seattle signs him I'd have a coronary.

all of this. lock him and crabs up and draft a couple young studs to develop along with patton and were stacked at receiver for years to come

Boldin is definetly the signing of the year in the whole NFL.
We gave up a 6th Rounder and all he did was break the spell on #81 that T.O. left. He was worth a #6pick not a 6th Rounder.
