He'll be suspended 15 games instead of the entire season.
......which for Cleveland is 16 games, in case anyone didn't get it.

Sounds like begging RT @MaryKayCabot: Josh Gordon sends message that football field is 'only place I can find peace'

If #Browns WR Josh Gordon needs football so much, why did he choose drugs over fball at both Baylor, Utah? Not a bad guy, but not buying it

I'm going to guess this is no longer his choice and that he is addicted. But to marijuana? Come on now!

Andrew Brandt @adbrandt
Gordon: "I am very disappointed that the NFL and its hearing office didn't exercise better discretion and judgment in my case" Hmm.

Adam Levitan @adamlevitan
Josh Gordon's suspension is for one YEAR, not 16 games. Won't be allowed around Browns for 2015 OTAs, minicamp, most of training camp.

Hahaha -- umm, says the one who really should have utilized better discretion and judgement when tapping that MJ :)

a persons inability to follow the rules after getting caught the 1st time. that shows a trend and a disregard for your privilaged position as a pro athlete. he also got dui while this was under appeal. not too bright.

I have to disagree. Ray Rice knocked his then girlfriend out drunkenly. If you read into Josh Gordon's actual weed "levels" they were literally miniscule. I get that the NFL sends a message that you shouldn't be a repeat offender... but for a drug that is being legalized across America and in small dosages.. it's ludicrous. If the guy is Rob Ford'ing this b***h then I totally agree with a YEAR suspension.
This does not bode well for Aldon Smith IMO.

which time? the guy has been failing tests since college, theres a reason he was a supplemental draft pick. i dont buy the notion that everytime he failed a test he had miniscule amounts in his system. i'm not against weed at all, i smoke it and have a card to get it. i'm am however against people who cant follow the rules in order to maintain employment. we all make mistakes but only a select few continue doing them after being caught because they think the rules dont apply to them. as far as rice goes, first time offender who got a 2 game suspension. should he get more? that can be debated, but i do know under tagliabue he wouldnt even be suspended.
