Report: #49ers were the top candidate to trade for WR Josh Gordon ...

I'm honestly surprised that only 1 person before me has posted about this. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Josh Gordon as a player, would have loved him on the 49ers last year, but, he's out for the year because the idiot can't stop smoking weed & got suspended for the 2nd time because of it (not that I advocate it being on the banned substances list because I don't, but it is soooo). We were offering a 2nd round pick plus players, surprises me they turned it down honestly. I wonder if after this year if we do happen to lose Crabtree or on the off chance Boldin retires after we win the SB if we would re-explore a trade for him?
Dodged a bullet. Nothing else to say.

I would still trade for him.

I'd rather go for a WR in round 1 or 2, if needed.
His and Wes Welker's suspensions may be overturned under the league new testing guidelines. Supposedly we'll find out in a week or so. I know I already added him to both of my fantasy teams just in case lol.

They are actually voting on it tomorrow. I picked him up in two of four leagues and he is still out there in one of my leagues but I'm stacked at wideouts.
Hey id still trade for him.

Both sides, NFL and NFLPA, hoping to finalize a new drug policy tonight in which suspensions will wind up being overturned.
Oh man!!!!!

I hope he is activated. My receivers suck and I NEED him to help me win some games.
My receivers are great I picked him up just to trade him or might trade someone else.
another set up to make Johnny football look good....?
If his suspension gets reduced to 10 games Aldon's should be cut to the 5 or 6 games it should have been in the first place.
So apparently, Josh Gordon is working at a car dealership now?

@RapSheet · 6m

Talked with Alex Sarchione who owns the car dealership Josh Gordon is working at: Will he give it up now that he can visit #Browns facility?

@RapSheet · 5m

Sarchione: "Josh (Gordon) is still going to be with us, but his schedule is going to change. Football is the main part of his life."

@RapSheet · 5m

Alas, Alex Sarchione said Josh Gordon has not yet sold his 1st car. But he's coming in early, staying late, committed to learning the trade

One more from car dealer owner Alex Sarchione: "I wish people could know Josh Gordon like we know him. We've enjoyed every minute of it"
I sold cars before. That profession sucks. Thats definitely not the profession you want to get into if you have a drug problem. Not that i would normally call weed a drug problem, but when anything negatively effects your professional career, then its a problem, drugs or not.

From my experience, anyone that had been in the profession an extended amount of time were extreme alcoholics or drug addicts. generally useing alchohol, drugs, or both at work as well. Long hours, s**t pay, s**tty customers, even s**ttier bosses.

Would still trade for Gordon though. If he can get his s**t together he has potential to be a true top 3 wr.
