pointing out how dumb the owner is, he deffered to jay gruden, not jon gruden the super bowl winning coach. anways, the bengals owner takes chances on guys all the time like pac man and tank johnson, even TO. but he wont pick the qb for his team that we wants? and defers to some OC is more known for having a famous brother than his actual accomplishments?

My point is that Jay Gruden is the Bengals' OC and John has no contractural ties to that team, so I would think Brown would talk to the guy who actually runs his team's offensive plays. The fact that Marvin Lewis is not even mentioned in the report is disturbing however.

... and I too really liked Dalton for us, leading up to the draft. I also thought Kaep was okay, but was far less pro-ready than Dalton. (as it seems, "expert" sources did)

Too much talent on that team for Andy to have played the way he did last weekend... but the owner is an arse for stating what he apparently did.
