If you're playing corner, it's better to have your name never mentioned if it doesn't include an interception or amazing pass deflection. Ward does know how to position himself (well, after his first year). That's why he's a solid starter. He's not going to the pro-bowl but he's most definitely not an assignment liability. You just have to make sure his backup is warm and ready to go every snap..

I am at the point right now, that I would tell Ward that if he doesn't take a pay cut, that we're going to let him go. He's not worth 8.5 million, even if we do have tons of cap space. We can find a similar or better player in FA for cheaper than that. Then put in the fact that Ward is always hurt, and it makes it even easier for me to be willing to let him go for nothing.
I see Sherman is coming in for a visit? Don't know what to think of that one yet, especially with him coming off his 2 injuries. I would like to see how he is on his recovery time table, but with him he would have to be really cheap on a 1 year deal for me to be interested, kind of a prove it deal for him.

No way in the world I would pay him 8.526 million this season. He's an awesome talent when healthy, but his frame is just not made for the NFL.

Yup. Move Sherman to Safety while you are at it. I think his Achillies will have robbed him of a lot of speed and agility, sad to say. (not really).
