He will be injured by week 3. A good player. But always injured. Not too bad that he left.

Reportedly 2 years $13mil and if so I'm kind of surprised we didn't match that

Maybe we tried but he was ready to go.

Must've been because he said 49ers offered him "highest paid Nickel" money and that's like 11M a year so he took a huge pay cut to play FS in Texas

Exactly. He went on and on about how slick the Niners are with their negotiations. It truly looks (by his word) that he lost out on a lotta dough
are his contract details out yet... I want to see what numbers hes getting compared to our new nickel.
This kind of has me scratching my head. He is going to be 32 before the season begins and he decides to take a contract much less than his worth for a team who is in the beginning of a total rebuild. You would think he would either want to go to a contender of some sorts or choose the money. It appears he did neither here. It has to be because of Demeco. But still baffling. He must not have gotten many suitors.

this technically is year 3 of their rebuild, not year 1 like you're implying.

lil confused by this new HOU approach of adding vet players

almost looks like they are actually attempting to win games

added Schultz and D Singletary also

I like what they've done so far, thought they might get Al-Shaair too. They have f**k-all for WRs though

Classy video from the team.

I just realized Jimmie came up just one year short of making the 10-year wall.
Good podcast with Sherman.....

I must say, it's bittersweet losing Jimmie. He might not have been a starting safety anymore, but I loved having him on the team. I consider him a true Niner, the only defensive player to play with Aldon Smith, Justin Smith but also Bosa/Armstead/Buckner.......Willis and Bowman but also Warner and Greenlaw......played for Fangio, Saleh, Ryans..........Harbaugh and Kyle.........insane. I'm glad he got to taste a Super Bowl appearance at least.

His hatred for Seattle endeared him with the fanbase in my eyes........the way he talked s**t about wanting to play against DK Metcalf was legendary. The hit he delivered on Mahomes in the Super Bowl that knocked a first down back to 4th down, and certainly the hardest hit I've ever seen Mahomes take was epic.

I do hope he balls with the Texans.

No hard feelings, whatsoever.

PS - Sherman cracks me up.........."Nicholas Jon Bosa"........but "good talking to ya, JIM"..........LMAO.
