Wow. I actually agree with PFF for once. He was horrible most of last season. I really dont see why any fans would want him back.

And on that note.

I'll be pissed if we extend him and bow out on the RBs in the draft.

He is suck and old is.

Lol. Look at LeGarrette Blount is 31 years old. He looked a great game for Eagles. We should sign Jonathan Stewart for one year because he is 30 years old and not bad age. I think, Stewart can running for part time and plus Breida is running for part time then both are running for part time. If Stewart is power running for 3rd down then get 1st down for helped lot and make better. Come on.. Just think twice..
I heard the Patriots will sign LeGarrette Blount back his team again. We must sign LeGarrette Blount for one year! Get LeGarrette Blount for the 49ers!

How many times have we tried replacing him with other backs tho?

Hayne?Lattimore?Reggie Bush?mike davis ?Brieda?Hightower?

Franchise him and move along.

Its not exactly a ringing endorsement to only be speaking with your free agent starting RB's agent come combine time. I dont see any shot at him coming back.

This is just a chance to see what Hyde wants and let Hyde know what the 49ers expect. If those two meet, then he re-signs here.

It does not mean that the 49ers will not draft a RB. However, as noted above, with the Foster situation, it bumps the RB need down a level. CB, OL and LB are now greater needs than RB. We don't have as many picks this year as we did last year, hence, the ones we do have must go for high priority positions unless a BPA just blows Lynch away.

We won 5 straight games last year with Hyde as the starting RB.

A rugby star, a one legged RB, a guy at the twilight of his career, a workout warrior. Did likely take his job, fodder.

Common man, you act like any previous regemes ever really tried to replace him. Fact is, no one has tried to replace Hyde until last season. The first time someone has tried to replace Hyde (see Breida a UDFA) and they likely succeeded lol.

And he was worse than Breida, an UDFA the entire run.
