Hyde would be the perfect back, if G-Ro was still O.C. Best of luck Hyde in Cleveland.

You think so? Gore was perfect for that O because of his ability to get skinny and blast through the hole. Hyde is not that. Hyde is a read-option back.

Is it true we offered Hyde the same contract as Cleveland but he chose them over us?

I doubt we even gave him an offer.

So did I. I trust Shanny and Lynch, but IMHO this wasn't the best move. What we have on the roster isn't better options at RB. I know Hyde didn't light up the league, and he's injury prone, but the line-play did him no favors either. I suspect that this team will miss Hyde. Look for us to take a step back in the run game.

I think Hyde was best with chip as a coach. But i think his next best was with roman. i wonder how hue is gonna use him.

I am excited to see that Browns offense with Taylor, Hyde, Gordon and Landry.
Hue has a whole lot of talent now and no excuses for that offense to not perform.

The fact that Hyde took less money to go to CLE of all places let's you know what teams around the league thought of his ability.

True, however, it might have a lot to do with the fact he came from Ohio State and knew he would be better in that offense than in Kyle's.
