Hyde is a better fit for Hue. McKinnon is a better fit for Kyle. Good luck go him, but I'm not upset.

Agreed. The fact that Carlos has essentially been exiled to the Browns should speak volumes about his value to the rest of the NFL. The fact that his agents managed to get him the deal that he received also speaks volumes. When your best option is to sign with the Browns? It means that nobody else, no other team, wanted you.
Remember, the Browns are in the running to sign Saquon Barkley. Media reports now have Saquon going to the Colts or Giants now that the Browns have inked Hyde, but I'm not buying that. I wonder how much of Hyde's contract is guaranteed. Because if the Browns do sign Saquon, it's a numbers game in Cleveland and Carlos is on the wrong side of the ledger.

I'm not sure if I would call it the worst. I think that would be reserved for a one Kevan Barlow, who was supposed to be the answer to losing Garrison Hearst. Like Hyde, Barlow was handed the starting job. And he was the absolute worst.
But I'll say this is something that is very similar. Hyde was supposed to be the answer for losing Gore. Not so fast...

He's from Ohio and the Browns have an excellent OL and a power run scheme. It was one of the best fits for him.

Hyde has been exiled to Cleveland and the Hyde thread has been exiled to NFL Talk.

"However, the agreement to sign Hyde does not eliminate Saquon Barkley from the Browns' draft board, according to a league source familiar with the team's thinking. The Browns are keeping their options open, and that means Barkley remains part of the discussion with either of their first-round draft picks.
"Nobody is ruled out," the source said of the way the Browns view the draft board."

Dude, he's gone. He can't hurt you anymore. Not sure why you have such disdain for a guy who did nothing but work his ass off while he was here and played hard game after game.
That the Browns are doing what every other team is doing in not showing their hand and maintaining leverage is only a surprise for someone looking to hate a guy on a guy for no reason. Get over it. You think Lynch and Shanahan will admit to knocking any player down their board or removing them when asked? Hell no.

Yeah it's over. They have Hyde and Duke Johnson while Tyrod is on a 1 year deal they're taking a qb at 1.

I am sure this means that Barkley is not going to be the Browns #1 pick, and that they are not sure he will still be there at #4. Definitely QB for them at #1, finally.

Hyde never bothered me. Not much of a fit for shanny and injury prone but best of luck to him
Wonder if this means Joe Williams is making it off the practice squad though?
