I agree. He was a good player for us and helped on the 5-0 run. Best of luck to him with the Browns.

Hyde was drafted to fit in Bo Harbaugh's offense, and would have been a perfect fit there. He wasn't bad when healthy, as witnessed by his two near 1,000 yard seasons. He just wasn't the best fit for Shanahan's offense.

The image I will remember is when he fought to support BeatHard after that cheap hit. A key starter fighting to protect a rookie destined to be only a backup says a lot about the character and fire of the man. You gotta love that.

Damn, not sure why Hyde gets so much hate from fans. He didn't kneel. Played hard. Didn't complain. And then fans want players to have some sort of loyalty to the team?

Barkely and Hyde would be great. No one RB should carry the load. Hyde looked good filling in for Gore back in the day

Because he's the guy who replaced Gore so a portion of the fanbase was seemingly hellbent on s**tting on him no matter what he did.

He was a good dude who dealt with having a new head coach, new OC and new offense every single year of his time here, didn't complain or whine, went out there and worked hard, didn't get into any nonsense of the field, people have issues man.

I wish Hyde and Reid nothing but the best. They both had to deal through a super s**tty period of time for this franchise and handled themselves with class and were by all accounts good teammates and good dudes on and off the field.

Best of luck Carlos. When he was on the field he was one of the most entertaining things about this team in the last four years.
Did Carlos feelin gut hurt because he was saying all year that SF GOIN TO THE SUPER BOWL.. and he didn't get a contract offer so he went back home?

glad to see he gone !!!

CARLOS HURTIN HYDEEEE !!!!
good luck el guapo! its too bad we didn't have an offense that fit him. I think he will be awesome with tyrod with an inside zone scheme.
Always expected gore things from him. My fault.

Gore was special. I don't think many people realized how special he was until he left.

A lot of people still don't realize he is a legit Top 10 all time.

True his numbers came from longevity but he also played on junk teams much of the time.

Hyde will do well in the power game in Cleveland. He just wasn't quite right here.
With Hyde leaving, Garrett Celek is the only skill position player remaining on offense from the pre Shanahan/Lynch era. Just goes to show how truly lacking we were in that department, especially after Crabtree, Boldin and Gore left.
