Carlos is a good back but you won't regret getting rid of him. Shanny's o is designed for multiple duel purpose backs to slice you up on the outside/ receiving. I'm not sure what to expect individually out of Breida, McKinnon, Williams but as a unit they'll produce.

Yea minus the injuries Hyde is a good back. Better back than Mckinnon but not a better fit in this system. I think he would've been brought back if he were a better receiving back. Just too many drops and missed opportunities last year. He'll do good in Cleveland and miss about 4 games.

Finally got a chance to watch some of the Browns' preseason games. Carlos looks good. Good luck to him.
Carlos Hyde for the TOUCHDOWN!

The Browns capitalize a 4:26 drive with a 70-yard TD drive. They ran 7 times for 63 yards. What an impressive drive!

Hyde has shown he has decent hands but do you guys think he stays on the field more than Duke on 3rd downs?

He didnt fit the "system"
Its a good thing they signed Morris, I dont see Mckinnon or Brieda being able to stay healthy.

I like the Browns' RB 1-2 punch with Hyde and Chubb.

I always liked him, but I think most people agree he wasn't a perfect fit for the system. Of course you get talent regardless of system fit but RBs are probably the "easiest" (it's never easy to find good players in any position) to find decent players.

I told you. We should keep to Hyde! Joe williams is waste time because he was not playing for last year. He was injured. You need learn lesson and homework yourself. You should trust me next time. I am smart enough.

Never had a bad thing to say about Hyde. Probably never will. When he was with the 49ers he busted his ass and never complained, kept his head down and did his job.
I think he drew a lot of unfair criticism for being the guy that replaced Gore. I hope he has nothing but success in Cleveland, its definitely a great scheme for his skillset.

Clv is going to have a nice combo with Hyde/ Duke Johnson. You got the power back and receiving back. If Hyde goes down they got Chubb to back him up. They're set up well.

I'm rooting for the Browns this season. They have a lot of guys I like. I really like Mayfield and have always felt Taylor was under rated. Hyde has always been solid and IMO his only question mark was health.
Seeing what KS is doing with the offense, I understand why they parted.
Plus, Hue Jackson offenses are fun to watch when everything is working.
