the way I saw it is that we wanted to go YOUNG on defense and Brooks was never gonna make it .... Brooks was an OLB under 3-4, and had averaged 5 to 6 sacks per year... we went under 4-3 and replaced him with Eli and Elvis and both had about the same amount of sacks this year to Brooks average per season..
