Met this dude while working out at 24 hour fitness on brokaw during his rookie year.
I remember having such high hopes for him and so many others who we drafted from 2012-2014ish.
Just brings up so many bitter memories.

the FANS made this guy the next LT because he showed flashes... the coaching staff showed him so much love that they ended up ruining Ahmad Brooks career by HANDING Lynch Slob his job instead of ALDRUNK SMITH..
People should have listened to the assistant (S. Florida) when he bad mouthed the 49ers from taking a LOW CLASS GUY..

Seemed to do well against the Giants.
That rookie season where we had all of our studs on the DL back (Aldon's first game), and the pass rush was annihilating Eli into 5 picks.
Then the next season back at Metlife, he was our only pass rush against them.

This was also right around the time I realized phrases like "he'd be a first round talent if not for ...." is applied to about 150 players in every draft.

Lynch legit had top first round talent, he was just lazy and unmotivated as FUUUUUUUUUUUU. He was still able to last in the NFL a few years while coasting and routinely showing up out of shape. Imagine if he had the drive of a Kittle or someone like that. So much wasted talent.
