Show Kap that there is other Wrs on the team not named Crabtree and as far as the read option? Junk that stuff its so 2012.

Maybe it's the QB.

Firing Roman won't help, Harbaugh still has his say on what he wants on offense. He'll just find someone else that agrees with him.

This. Make no mistake about it, this is the offense that Jim wants, this is the offense he approves of and played in.. The worst part about Harbaugh is that he's dogmatically attached to this offense because of his own personal beliefs and loyalties, fire Roman, bring in whoever you want, this will still be a very conservative, "go for the safe points" sort of offense with a 1970's era passing philosophy.

Good enough to get you to the playoffs and just good enough to get you beat sooner or later when you get there.

AND then some - Let's play for FG and all will suck!
I agree with what you guys are saying. But in all honesty, what can the team do now? What are the options for them now? Who do we turn to for help?

ROMAN HAS BEEN FIGURED OUT WITH HIS WACK ASS COLLEGE SCHEME, IT'S TIME GETS THE BOOT!

Agree.

JH is a good coach - NOIT a great coach and he can be replaced. I don't know by who but there are plenty of qualified people in the football world.

JOHN HARBAUGH FIRED HIS OC AND THEN WENT ON TO WIN THE SUPERBOWL, HAVE SOME BALLS JIM!

FREE CK!!!!!!!!!!!

If this is really the case, I am done with Harbaugh. And it's probably why we haven't extended this guy. Baalke gave him all the weapons he needs this year and there should be no excuse for a 2nd half melt down like that. OFFENSE WAS COMPLETELY INEPT!

GOD I HOPE WE HAVEN'T BEEN FIGURED OUT THIS EARLY. THERE IS NO EXCUSE THIS YEAR FOR ANYONE ON THIS DAMN TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bo Schembechler's alive and well.

the options are praying for hope. as said earlier in this thread roman is either 1) not going to be replaced or 2) be replaced with another dude who will largely be playing with the same template provided by harbaugh

Very correct sir. 1st down keeps it alive.

Also - my girlfriend knew it was going to Crabtree.

Kap could have thrown less interceptions...but I admit that the ball seemed to be catchable.
oh i agree, a large part of the loss was on ck. i am sorry and i hate roman, but you can not make all those turnovers, you just can not,, our defense which has pass rush issues already just got worn down with 30 second drives.. that ball was catchable,, you gotta make that play if you want to be a go to guy at crunch time

so your saying we're probably f#$ked. Is getting rid of H&R the only way to fix it?

Having Lloyd on the field will not change the fact that play design does not appear to use all the possible targets, nor will it change the fact that Kaepernick still does not appear to be able to read the entire field when his primary target is covered. Harbaugh should have had Kaepernick and the new WRs on the field often during the preseason but instead he chose to keep them off the field 90% of the time.

Harbaugh should have approached the preseason this year as if it were an entirely new team, which it nearly was with Crabtree coming back healthy along with Johnson and Lloyd. Instead he "saved" them for the regular season and now we see how that has failed. Dallas was not a good test because they have a bad defense, however, that should have been used to getting the offense firing on all cylinders. What we saw was a boring second half with no spark and no fire. A good coach would have rolled up 40+ just to get the offense running well.

It isn't about Roman. This is Harbaugh's team and Harbaugh's offense. Yes, he has brought winning back to the franchise but he should. Baalke has given him one of the most talented rosters in the league that should be rolling teams instead of looking like moldy cheese.

Your last paragraph hits the nail on the head

jh is the head of the rattlesnake ,,, he must like what is being called because he lets roman go on. it would be interesting for the powers to be to put jh in a box and demand he fire roman.

short of harbaugh realizing his 1986 michigan offence needs some modifying, its going to be a struggle calling plays the way we tend to.
Chicago d lost five starters by end of game. still pwned us. What does that say.

that is a terrifying thing to imagine given our current back up qbs and what we have invested in CK... if we struggle this year and if JH thinks he was wrong about ck(which he would never come out and say) he will go to michigan and if that happens, I will take that as a sign JH has lost confidence in ck.... HOWEVER,, i stress last year we had these same thoughts at 1-2 and the team righted the ship which is usually does when its back is against the wall,, so i want to give this thing some time before we break out the pitchforks and torches
