Odell Beckham Jr.'s Catch - Best Ever?

This isn't madden, the cost for him is extremely high. Not only do you have to give out a top 10 pick(that is someone who could turn into a corner stone, consider that beckham was picked at 12), but also a 3rd or fourth(That would be the equivalent of giving up on a potential up-and-coming player like witherspoon or Kittle). Also, much of our salary cap flexibility, which we need to sign defo, brown, and tartt and possibly anyone else who might break out next year, not to mention any free agents we might want next year. This is for a player who played only four games last year, and who has major attitude issues. So much so that his team is willing to give up on him, as great as he is.

Beckham is great, but not worth the cost of giving up all of that. Sherman and beckham are two completely different situations. We didn't have to give up draft capital to give him, its a super team friendly deal, and he played well before the injury, plus he has been known to mentor young players. Of course the team would probably love to have beckahm, just not at the cost that is being asked. In closing, stop whining.

PS: Generational talent? LOL Julio Jones > Antonio Brown > Odell Beckham
Hard to see them pulling the trigger on a trade like this should Beckham become available. The potential cost two #1's plus god knows what else on top of the $$$ he would want seems like a lot to pay for a team that is in only the second year of a ground up rebuild. Plus who needs the headaches he could cause with his various antics. Would much rather see them spend that money on extending their own guys that they like and seeing how the receivers they have develop next year. Signing Beckham seems more like the Deion Sanders signing from back in the day, a solid team looking for that one extra player who could make a difference in a playoff run. This team isn't that team, at least not yet. Plus Shanahan has already gone on record saying that a top end receiver is a luxury in his scheme, not a necessity.
there's no way we give up 2 first rounders. let alone a 1st. we'd have to get creative.

Save the Generational talent talk for the physical marvels like the Megatrons and Julio's in football.

Plus we'd have to unretire Shaun Hills number
OBJ will not happen
Its just leverage for rams to trade 4 him

Sad but most likely true.
I'll say it: he's worth a 1st & 4th, plus the contract we'd have to give him once Marathe works his magic.

We could chose a cornerstone piece with the #9 pick. OTOH, OBJ would also be a cornerstone pick, one with a proven track record of success. It would take our offense over the top. We would have the best QB-WR combo in the league, and one of the best WR corps in the league. He would elevate our running game, our TEs, and our O-line, and take pressure off the defense.

Two 1sts? No deal. But a 1st and a 3rd-day pick? Absolutely.
A 1st & 4th would actually be less than what NE paid for Brandin Cooks, and OBJ >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Cooks.

Cooks wasn't a head case and doesn't have these videos of him doing illegal s**t floating around. on top of that, NE 1st round pick is basically a 2nd round pick anyways. it's not like they gave up a top 10 pick
Who ever dont want odel on a trade, you my friend are blinkard

Exactly, generational talent is thrown around way too often. Joe thomas was generational, AP is generational, Megatron was generational, JJ Watt is generational, P-Willy was generational, Tom Brady is generational. Not ever how or top end player is a generational talent.
