Can't stand the Seahawks.
The fanbase is really 99% of it. Just reading .NET these guys think every one of their players are going to the HOF, and their hatred for the Niners is a little unhealthy.
I can't imagine Niner fans in 1982 being this f*** insecure or saying crap like Bill Ring and Hacksaw Reynolds are elite players.

Like I said, who cares what a bunch of people that have only been relevant for a few years thinks? We have our own problems to worry about, their opinion doesn't mean anything.
As a Hawks fan I agree with you. I bought a Niner fan a few beers after the game at a bar called Sluggers. We talked for a long time and football was the last thing we brought up. I love my team but I don't get a joy in rubbing someones face into the ground for the way a bunch of dudes played on a field. All teams have a bunch of douche bags in their fan base but in the end its a game not played by fans. I think a lot of young fans don't get that. I don't care about anyone who barks their opinion at me about my sports affiliation. We are fans, but when the game is over some of these people are just butt hurt when they have to go back to reality.

Like I've said, overall, with all the distractions and injuries the 9ers have had this year I felt the 9ers still played the Seahawks better than most. I thought for sure once Willis and Bowman were out for the season this year would be worst than what it actually is.
To tell you people the truth, I was actually more pissed off or upset about losing to the Broncos and Raiders than worrying about the Seahawks.

Earl Thomas was interviewed a while back and he was asked which NFCW team he was most worried about and he said it was actually the Rams because they fear no one. And I can see that. When I watch the Hawks play the Cards and Niners, I feel the Hawks are the more aggressive and physical team. But when they play the Rams it's pretty even and perhaps the Rams themselves are more physical as I see fights pretty much after every other play.
The Rams are one franchise QB away from being the most dominant team in the NFL. Imagine how hilarious it would be if they traded some 6th round pick for RG3, and then how scary it would be if they managed to develop him.

And why are teams more aggressive than others? It is definitely a reflection of the attitude of the coaching no? If so, it's quite impressive that Jeff Fisher's teams can keep this up after so long. And you then wonder why some coaches go to great lengths to try and create this physical and intimidating atmosphere (Saints bounty gate).
And you know Arians' was clearly affected by the Rams' aggressiveness with his post game comments. That s**t is funny. Jeff Fisher can definitely get under anyone's skin. But with that said, f**k the Seahawks, f**k the Rams, and f**k the Cardinals.
49 days to go until the slate is clean for the entire NFL :)

Yes, and I see the comedy of the RG3 re-trade. But it is going to be difficult for them to find a franchise QB. Really difficult. . I am not sure that the Rams will sustain into next year. We will see.

Totally agree with this! When I think of Seattle Microsoft, coffee and rain come to mind. I'm glad the Seahawks have given them something to rally around. Hating the niners is a form of flattery so no big deal.
With the injuries and drama of this year the niners could well have a losing record but are even at this point. I predict they will end 8-8, which will be a real accomplishment for Harbaugh and the players. Three years playing at an elite level take a lot out of a team so they were due a down year, but when your down year is even...that's fantastic!
So cheer up and look forward to next year!

Obsessed with s**** attendance at Levis.
Maybe they will start a thread soon about how terrible it is that birds and people flying in planes can see the Chernobyl like state of Candlestick Park.

Agree.
The close games w/the Giants and Skins hurt and were VERY telling of how pathetic our offense is.
BUT the Raiders loss was the bitterest pill of all.

Luckily Seattle fans are the laughing stock of the NFL. I have yet to meet a fan base that respects them or their "passion". They wikipedia Largent for street cred but forget they weren't even in the NFC for most of their existence. Zorn, Kitna, Waters… all foreign to about 80% of that fan base.

You're argument might hold more water (no pun intended) if his name wasn't spelled Watters. BTW, he was a Niner first.
Don't call me a bandwagoner. I've done my time in the basement. Now get back down there.
