I actually find it humorous living here. Seattle has a self centered, ameturistic mind sent. I think it's because they have no historic traditions to look back on. The fans have a chip on their shoulder like the team does

lol @ the Seahawks, they can laugh all they want. Last time I checked the 49ers still have 5 times the championship than some team that has been an irrelevant afterthought their entire existence but think they're the greatest team of all time now they finally won something. I look forward to them going back to the NFL cellar where they belong, where most people aren't really sure if they play in the NFL or CFL.

Everybody knows Seattle and its denizens are San Francisco wannabes - from their waterfronts to their Victorian houses to their miserable sports teams. They don't have a history as rich as San Francisco. So they resort to insulting what they envy. Seattle is a poor man's San Francisco (and I don't mean that in material terms).

What's still so hilarious about this rivalry and their willingness to downplay our 5 titles is that the seires is 4-4 over the last 8 games. Facts are facts we are a blue blood franchise and they are still a very irrelevant team that has been mediocre to bad for 85% of their existence.

I also live in Seattle. I consider it constructive criticism. You know what? They are right! Our offense is slow and cumbersome but once we get a new OC there is plenty of room for improvement. We have some good pieces in place but right now with Patton and Ellington. Crabtree is on his way out, we'll no doubt pick a burner in the top few rounds in the upcoming draft so I think we'll be ok.

And it kills them that this will ALWAYS be true, even if they get another one this year its still a lot to a little.
