Th
One read run for my life wonders do not make a dynasty. Russell Wilson is overhyped, and tge reality is that If that game gad been played anywhere else but Seattle, they would've been crushed.
Again, Seattle winning bothers me no more than the Rams in 99-00. Now is their time...a time heavily reliant on Marshawn for offensive production and their defense to keep them in it.
Doesn't smell like dynasty at all, and I am more confident that the Niners are built for longer success than Seattle is. But to each their own, and maybe some of the newer fans haven't really seen what a dynasty looks like.
We have 5 rings.
Seattle's not even close.
Put it this way....many many years from now when they're diung MNF promo before the games and they show highlights of years past....you'll still see Montana, and you'll still see Young to Rice. The only thing you'll see about Seattle is that fail Mary highlight.
f**k 2 yr wonders. It's all about the legacy folks.

Great post. Too many live in the now, and don't look at the overall picture. The only thing we should be worrying about is who the hell our offensive coordinator is going to be.

Not really. My brother is a Packers fan, he's been laughing at be throughout the 90s. Feels good to laugh at his face these past 4 years

It's all about the rings for me. Division rivals don't bother me as much.

They have an elite defense and as bad as Wilson looked today, he is still light years ahead of Kap.
That's fine if you think they aren't w for long term success but there is an obvious bias. How are we so different? We only have a few more years of Willis, don't have an elite secondary, and gore and jsmith will be gone soon. Soon enough we will be putting all our faith on Kaepernick.

That's the past. I hate Seattle more than anything, but they're the cream of the NFL.
We're a .500 team with a train wreck of a coaching situation. Sure, you bring up the rings, but our current players aren't the ones wearing them.

Dude, it's obvious, just give in. You know you'd give your left nut to experience what Seattle fans are living right now.
Listen to yourself...the 49ers haven't won a SB in 20 years and you're saying "f**k off to Seattle" because they're possibly about to win their 2nd and maybe more because it doesn't compare to the 5 we won back in the 80's and 90's?
Seattle's defense is about to go down as the best defense ever in NFL history by leading the league in points and yards allowed, two years in a row. How is that not leaving a legacy?

Oh.... This is a "we're better than Seattle even though our last SB win was over 20 years ago and they're about to win 2 straight" thread.
Yes. Our SBs from 3 decades ago are totally relevant now...

And then what?
The point is that Seattle didn't exist until recently. So good for them for finally showing up. But franchises are measured by their history. Right now they only have the present- and that's the point.
Again, good for them.. Do this in the future and you leave a legacy.
