My poor, butthurt fellow 49er fans. It's ok -- whatever works to alleviate the pain you're feeling today.

Its okay dude, we're all hurting

Not really. My brother is a Packers fan, he's been laughing at be throughout the 90s. Feels good to laugh at his face these past 4 years

It's all about the rings for me. Division rivals don't bother me as much.

There are many very young people on this board that would debate that with, they say, well those 5 don't matter because it was years and ago and now this is now, and etc mo BS...I for one say, they matter a hella lot..

That's fine if you think they aren't w for long term success but there is an obvious bias. How are we so different? We only have a few more years of Willis, don't have an elite secondary, and gore and jsmith will be gone soon. Soon enough we will be putting all our faith on Kaepernick.

"Light years" my ass. Wilson is GOOD but all that talk of him being elite needs to calm down. He flat out played like s**t today...no other way to say that.

The only reason why his shortcomings aren't as scrutinized is because he has a more media-friendly personality than Kap ("Golly gee willikers guys, I can't believe we won!").

Had that been us out there today, the story wouldn't have been about a comeback. It would've been abiut Green Bay gave the game away and the how the Niners must improve to have a shot in the Super Bowl.

Kap has never looked that bad against a sub-par defense like Green Bay and yet Wilson is "light years" ahead?

Give me a break.
Good post. Hate them right now. But 5 to 10 years they will be nothing again. No one will talk about them.

Raiders, Giants say hello.
I dont know about you guys but I'm sick of living in the past. We have more superbowls that the seahawks but does it really matter? We play to win the superbowl each year, every year is different. The current state is that our niners are in turmoil and the seahawks have won a superbowl and have miraculously won the NFCCG.

They are our current rivals at the moment and we should be pissed that its not us playing for a chance to play in the superbowl.

It kind of makes me pissed off that all the former niner greats keep saying, "oh yea just go back to the glory days...just be great again", its not that easy folks! Part of the reason why letting harb go was a huge mistake is because great coaches only come so often, Jed thinks Bill Walsh type coaches grow on trees.

Am I the only one that feels like seattle is the luckiest franchise in the history of sports? (At least these last few years anyways). Every single time there is a lucky break to be had, by golly they get it!!
I was thinking today that YES their incredible supply of good luck and fortunes is finally about to run out. Sherman is finally about to be humbled and come out with the shi**y end of the stick. I finally got to see him in some pain and I loved it. Looked like he was crying on the sideline at one point. It looked like we were finally gonna see them lose a big game in their own house. But hey, the incredible good luck came back with a vengeance in the last half of the 4th quarter!!
Ok I'm not denying that seattle is a good team. Great defense of course. But come on they do get a ridiculous amount of lucky breaks.

First of all, wtf was Aj Hawk doin on the fake FG? He decided to just let the lineman run past him to try to tackle the PUNTER who already had 2 or 3 guys chasing him and was definitely not gonna run for the 1st down. That was a lucky break that Aj Hawk had a brain fart on what would have been an easy play to defend had he ran with the lineman.

Then, the awesome onside kick. WTF. How often does someone on the "hands" team let the ball hit them in the face and bounce right into the opposing player's hands? Almost never. But hold on, this is seattle we're talking about. I just knew some type of bullsh*t was gonna happen when that ball was kicked.

The 2 pt conversion. WTF was Clinton-dix doing? That ball was just heaved up there with a prayer and he had all kinds of time to get in position to make a play but instead he sorta just stayed behind the receiver for some stupid reason.

I realize im ranting and maybe my argument sounds stupid, but im pissed. I don't care what anyone says, I watch a lot of seattle games hopin to see them lose and they always get lucky as f*ck! Today was like torture. They had all kinds of bad luck in the first half, but somehow they still end up winning.

I'm not old enough to have been able to experience the Niners glory days, I became a die-hard in 1997 so basically at the end of the glory years. So I am pretty concerned with the now, personally. And now I am pissed because seattle is so arrogant and their fans act like they are the only people in America who cheer for a football team with all this #12 bullsh*t. Any real Niner fan should be angry and shouldn't want these dicks to win anything, certainly not another Super Bowl. So IMO, I dunno how you could not care if you actually watched today's game and you are a Niner fan.......I need a beer or 12

The point is that Seattle didn't exist until recently. So good for them for finally showing up. But franchises are measured by their history. Right now they only have the present- and that's the point.

Again, good for them.. Do this in the future and you leave a legacy.

This is the future. The future that came when 49er fans like you made this exact same declaration last year around this time.

Really? Kap had 4 picks against the Giants and Raiders? I must've missed that.

....... because it didn't happen.

Kap was playing like s**t against both of them, against the Raiders in particular. And they got one of the worst defenses in the league. The Pack D is certainly not the very best but it is at least mediocre.

Stats (points allowed):
49ers - 21.3
Pack - 21.8
Raiders - 28.3 (worst in the league!!!)

Has anyone seen the CBS pic of Russell Wilson's 10-0 record vs SB winning Qb's? 7 of those 10 wins are at home and he's 15-11 on the road in his career. As bad as Kap has been, he's 15-9 on the road. (including playoffs) Why couldn't Bostic catch the damn ball. Seacocks got so damn lucky. Wilson played like trash. Let's go Pats!

That stat is so stupid. The real stat is Seattle's D is 10-0 against SB winning QBs

I guess some of you guys would trade away our 5 rings from the PAST for Seattle's 2014 ones and maybe 2015.

Like I said too many youngsters in our fanbase.
