Honest opinion on Seattle as a Niner fan this is Deja Vu

I would call i more of a nightmare.

After the 2011 season i figured we'd have a ring or two by now and harbaugh extended through 2019.

Now, SEA is doing what i hoped and here we are assembling a team of reject coaches, and doing a bad job at it.
Only sports team I've ever seen get more BS lucky breaks is the SF giants
We beat Seattle plain and simple in Seattle, Santa Clara or the parking lot with better offensive coaching. No doubt about it and that's not the homerism or the pure hatred for Seattle I have talking.

Agreed. Both franchises' marketing departments also make a killing off selling tacky gear to the bandwagon fans.

Agreed. I think even Alex Smith mustered enough offense in 2011 at Seattle to win a game. Roman's celebration was as if he had exhausted his playbook for that win.

Yeah cuz the refs made the Packers play prevent d on 3rd and 19.

The refs made the Packers go ultra conservative in the 4th quarter.

The refs made the Packer player whiff on the onside kick so it hits him in the face.

The refs made McCarthy send out the field goal team twice on 4th and short goal line situations.

They are definitely good....but so goddam lucky lol

That pass for a 2-pt conversion is the pure definition of luck.
But Seattle stuck to what they do best, running the ball nd they trusted he run and that helped them get the win. I guess what im trying to say is knowing yout identity and sticking to it is big. I just hope we find our identity again and pound the rock.

I missed it live and just caught it now.

Ridiculous.

Wow, I really have to hand it to you, you really have a fantastic sense of humour, LOL. OK, so we didn't get blown out by the 3rd because of Kap, that's your position right ? Hey, but just too bad he pis*ed it all away in the 4th. Even after the 2 TOs we still had a chance to win had he not insist to throw that end zone fade to Crab with his usual childish and imbecile comment "I would take Crab over anyone everytime" and viola a pick by our dearest friend, Richard Sherman.

Listen pal, there is no such thing as "over-crediting" Wilson, let's just get down to the basics here, shall we ? Is really quite simple, Russell Wilson just happens to be a better QB than Kap, that is all. Everyone around the league knows that. Do I like the fact the Seahawks have a better QB than the 9ers ? Heck no, but it is what it is and there is nothing anyone can do about it apart from may be to keep drafting QBs until we get it right. Oh and by the way, should Kap not pan out in the coming season, don't be too surprised if the 9ers trade him away. I didn't make this up, many have written about it.

Woah someone is on the haterade.

Wilson was absolutely woeful last night and the Packers let Seattle off the hook. You're giving Wilson a pass because he threw the winning TD against a Packers defense that had moved from what was working and loaded the box to stop the real threat in Lynch.

I'm amazed at the sheer hypocrisy and stupidity that results in you forgiving the flaws in Wilson that you damn Kap for.

I'm jealous too, but that russell wilson continues to put these miraculous "HE's our Savior" "He's God incarnate" "He so generous to hospitalized kids"...then he runs around for 30 seconds in the backfield and throws up a joke of a pass and it's caught for a 2 point conversion....I'm just sick of everything going their way...it sucks big time...

and I see these fans all over the place now, who I know have not been seahawk fans for a long time who now have wilson, and lynch jerseys and they bring their kids to the bars and......it just sucks. I know it wont last forever, but I feel like as long as they have #3 they are gonig to be very hard to stop.

I was hoping the clay matthews hit gave him a concussion...didn't happen.

Oh yea ? I think you are missing the point here. I did say Wilson and the Seahawks played absolutely like sh*t most of the game, but you know what is the scariest part of it all ? They still won the game !! LOL.

You know, I was watching the game and even when they went 16 down, somehow I just wasn't sold on the Packers winning the game cos somehow I just knew the Seahawks would come back. As I got to middle of the 4th, I thought hmm may be the Seahawks would finally lose for once and what happened ? Sure enough, 2 mins before the end of the game they took the lead.

What is the moral of the story ? We can all sit here and say how crap Russell Wilson played, well he did for most of the game, just a bad day at the office and in fact quite frankly I would say pretty much the whole team weren't ready to play last night. But, somehow these guys and Wilson inclusive always find a way to win. They just have an incredible amount of resolve and the team is so tight. As for Wilson, this dude just doesn't panic which is arguably his most priceless and unique attribute and unfortunately for us it is Kap's weakest part of his game.

Like I said, this is when they don't play well, imagine when they play well ? Many games come to mind including our multiple rape scenes up at C-Link, the Panthers last week and of course none other than the Broncos in last year's Super Bowl. That is what Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks do.

It is just sad as I saw this coming from way back in 2012 when I had a massive debate with Phoenix. I had been afraid for a while that they would rise and they did. I just knew it wasn't a fluke when they totally beat us to submission after our triumphant win at Foxborough. I just knew even if we were tired, it wasn't enough to explain how we got raped. Ever after that game, the Seahawks have owned us. What is the record now ? 5 wins in the last 6 meetings ?

I will say this, not only if Russell Wilson remains as their QB, but as long as Kap is ours it will be very, very hard to beat them. But, their edge exceeds far beyond the quarterback position, their RB corps is better, their D-line is better, their secondary is better, their middle linebackers aren't that far back neither as Wagner has emerged into a great player.

As it stands, if I am being totally honest, I really don't know how we can beat them. But, if I had to guess, we will need a better QB and a much stronger RB corps to top theirs and an improved O-line and that is just on the offensive side of the ball. In short, I believe we will need to regain that "smash-mouth" title which we originally created from them. We must re-establish our physical dominance against them, if not it will be an uphill battle.

Is this Jed York? Sounds like Jed, who has no clue what is going on. Its amazing the direction our 2 franchises are going. 2 straight super bowls and we are in the midst of ANOTHER coaching change! We have become the laughing stock of the NFC west, with our owner and GM looking more like High School mean girls and their smear campaigns, Hiring of a puppet, having to hold his hand at the press conference like they are walking their little boy to the bus stop. Mean while Seattle is preparing for the Super Bowl
If Seahawks win their next game, they will be half way to a Dynasty. Sickening

Lol @ lucky team. As I'm doing Packer hi fives during the game I state multiple times "Wilson will turn it on in the 4th quarter"
