Honest opinion on Seattle as a Niner fan this is Deja Vu

I feel their coaching is solid, but this team gets the craziest lucky breaks that I have seen of any team. The biggest difference is that Seattle plays extremely "hard" for their head coach. If SF was in this position with coach Harbaugh we would definitely lose. I feel Balke, and York made the right decision to pick a man that our players will actually play hard for. We have the talent, and I feel we definitely will do what GB did today but, "finish the job." Seattle is literally a bunch of "OK" players that play verrrrry hard. I KNOW coach Tomsula will give us what we need to take the next step. Wilson Is what we thought he was, and our core is salivating seeing this game.

They're good, not infallible, but not to be taken lightly either. How they got Wilson, Sherman, and Thomas is ridiculous. I wish our FO could find that type of talent on a consistent basis without drafts like 2012.

I know I am biased somewhat and I'm sure the Niners get lucky breaks too, but it sure seems like the Niners get screwed far more often than they get lucky.

Think about just how much stuff had to line up perfectly and go right for seattle yesterday. Trailing by 12 with under 5 minutes to play after just throwing an INT:

1. Had to get the ball back quickly which they did
2. Had to score fairly quickly, which they did
3. Had to get an onside kick, which usually isn't successful. But hey luck was on their side since the moron on the "hands" team decided to try to catch the ball with his face
4. Had to score again, quickly, which they did
5. Had to get a 2 pt conversion which isn't usually too successful but yet again luck came through on what looked like a desperate throw that had no chance of being completed and the safety had all day to get in position to make a play.

So all these things just happened to bounce in favor of seattle as usual. Then they win the coin toss of course and from there the packers may as well have just went home. Makes me sick watching a hated team get every lucky break imaginable
These were the only two situations that you can deem "lucky", imo. With the 2 pt conversion, the Hawks made a play and executed, and who's to say, if they didn't convert, that the same sequence of events would have unfolded leading to the GB game tying FG. If anything, Seattle's defense would have played MUCH MUCH differently knowing a fg could lose the game for them.

Yeah but my point was that whole sequence of events happening as a whole was incredibly lucky because that was a lot of stuff that had to happen in order for them to win. If one of those things didn't happen, GB likely wins. I didn't really mean those individual things happening were lucky. I know it wasn't lucky that Seattle forced a punt after that late INT and it wasn't really lucky that they scored either. But all that stuff happening as a whole was pretty good fortune for them....and that 2 pt conversion, that pass looked awful when it left his hand. Even the broadcasters were saying they had no idea how Clinton dix didn't make a play on that ball
Lol that game was craaazy luck .

That lob ACROSS the field for the td

The same thing again on the two pointer

The onside kick Bostick had in his face,

The other across the body lob

The ot td that was covered well.
Arodgs' calf.

Soooo lucky.

Niners do that and we would get illegal formations, holding calls ,incompletions etc.

So lucky.

That's SEA for you. You knew they were going to win the OT coin toss, also. And now all the controversy surrounding the Pats. It just never ends.
for the they're more lucky than good posts, sure maybe they are, but this is the nfl where it is better to be lucky than good. theres no 7 game series so the best team doesnt always win. and no i'm not saying they arent good, they are, just a statement of fact that because you dont have to win 4 out of 7 in a series, the lucky bounces and breaks are way more important than other sports.

SEATTLE FANS WERE CAUGHT LEAVING THE DAMN STADIUM!!!

THE ELEVEN AND A HALF MAN KNEW IT SHOULD'VE BEEN OVER!

Crazy crazy crazzy luck.

That's why Sea is so quiet about that win. Ever since that catch on mnf that should've been reversed it's been downright SURREAL how many breaks they get.

its better to be lucky than good in the nfl. every champ has lucky breaks that bounce their way en route to their eventual title. the thing is when its your team who wins you dont view it as lucky, but from the outside all of the other fans say "wow this team is so lucky and gets all the breaks"

Pretty much. Either that or they say the team that lost choked . . .

Personally, I tend to give the winners (in EVERY sport) the credit more than I blame the losers or call "lucky"
Not that breaks don't happen (and, I'll admit, there was some serious blue and green pixie dust flying 'round Century Link Field on Sunday) but, the winners still have to capitalize and make the plays.

Bennett either jumps offsides or lines up offsides every play. Just a father-less trash player

No. PED's are the reason cheattle is even relevant.
This is a rant, so excuse the length.

They should have lost that game as it was, but really.. the Hags were actually the ones that choked that game to put Green Bay on the lead in the first place.

Willow had the worst game of his life, balls going off hands and right to GB. Fumble the return on the next drive? The extraordinary that was required for GB to win was happening. Then they kept throwing! They are one of the few teams that could run on this defense and against GB they bailed on it for crap passes like Roman on pain meds. Rodgers was not having a banner day and Lacy had a few runs early but not at the time they needed them. All that TOP and only 16 points plus a few yards to show for it.

The thing was, I was convinced the Hags were going to come back because they ALWAYS come back when we think they are done. Then that last tipped pass was picked and I thought it was actually happening. As soon as Willow went in for that TD I could tell it was going to get jacked up. I thought they would kick it deep and still have the time (and they would have as it turns out) when they got the onside kick I knew it was over. After the 2 point conversion I knew that GB would get a FG. Carroll always protects the end zone late (see 2013 NFCCG) he opens the middle of the field just like he did after Gore converted the 4th down last year and then tightens up down the field while burning clock.

Rodgers was crying about losing the coin flip but really? The Hags actually had the Packers pretty much shut down outside that last gimme drive. They were going nowhere, but instead the Packers suffered the kiss of death when Willow got the ball first. That game was over before that coin toss. All GB did was show that they couldn't stop the Hags when Willow isn't giving them gift wrapped tipped balls. They never did stop Lynch, I think the guy is still taking half their defense for a 10 yard ride. GB sucked and they are crying about being the better team. What was that garbage in OT? Aikman and Buck praised the GB defense all game. Claiming how great they played when in reality they just didn't have to do anything. That was all Willow and that God forsaken demon child Kearse, who caught our free play 4th down and then roasted the pansie ass Packers.

The Hawks were lucky one time as far as I am concerned, on the onside kick, but I still think they would have won. Its a curse that keeps on playing out in front of our eyes. How many times is this crap going to happen? I finally get to a point in the game where I crack a smirk amongst my Hag fan children and the next play they turn it around. Really GB? Better team? Please.

It got to the point where I was glad the Hags beat them the way they did. They couldn't stop a tissue in a gust of wind. Fricking Hags.

You know they are going to pound the crap out of the Patriots and at this point I don't even care. Oh sure... I will gain some confidence at game time and recklessly claim the Patriots are going to kick their ass, but we know whats going to happen. Exactly the opposite of what we want to happen. Expect a close game? Hags blowout, call for an ass kicking of the Hags? Blowout.

Some silly ass crap is going to happen and somehow someway those lucky bastages are going to cream New England. The Patriots could be up 21-0 at halftime and the Hags will win the game 42-24. It doesn't matter what I say or pick, it is about what I want and I want the Hags to get killed. GuaranFrickingTeed Hags ass kicking. Willow crying and praying, Michaels and Collinsworth blowing the entire Hagattle organization and another year's worth of Internet Arrogance.

Fk 'em. I am going to go puke now. Fricking Hags.

the most befuddling parts were the guy downing the ball after the interception and the guy that had the ball hit his face. that te looked like he wasnt even supposed to be there. he went from blocker to dropping back into jordy nelson's way and having it hit him in the face
I could understand the DB downing the ball. There wasn't a bunch of time left and if while carrying it he loses the ball (and it's a Hags game where some whacko crap like that happens) then he goes from hero to hack and has the media ripping him for it. I remember a similar play in 2010 that cost us a game.

The Hags got lucky on that kick, but ultimately the Packers still could have mustered up some nads and stopped them from getting a TD. They didn't just give up one either, they gave up three. Why? Because they suck on defense in spite of the Team Buckman commentary. Nice job with that defense Capers you overrated pile of horse-crap.

The better team lost, my ass. What a rotten way to end a suck day of football.
