Is the Green Bay vs. Seattle game one of the biggest meltdowns in NFL history?

They got 5 turnovers from Seattle. Completely dominate for 3 1/2 quarters at least. In fact they mostly dominate for 55 + minutes. Turnovers, yards and time of possession were largely all hugely in their favor until very late in the game. Then they give Seattle some quick easy scores, muff the onside kick recovery, get scored on again and need a field goal to tie and go into overtime.

This game had absolutely no business whatsoever going into overtime at all. Green Bay dominated yet still lost. Honestly I think this is a bigger meltdown than the Kyle Williams situation. I can't think of a game in a Championship game where I have seen a team more in control that melted down this late and overtime to lose.

Seattle has no business even being in the Super Bowl.....
Giants meltdown vs Niners years ago, where Owens made sehorn look clueless out there.
This has to rank up there all time. I mean this was absolutely rediculous. Dominate for 55 + minutes, get 5 turnovers from Seattle, Russell Wilson has a 0 Rating for the first half and they somehow lose the game and the Seahawks go to the Super Bowl.......
Certainly one of the biggest meltdowns in NFL history. Very, very disappointing. I can't stand the Seahawks, I respect that they are good, but the Packers bent over for them today. Smfh at that game.

I really thought they had it won running away 95% of the game. They really had them today. How many times do you go into Seattle and get them to give you 5 turnovers and Russell Wilson has a 0 QB rating in the first half? You absolutely have to win that game. You have to. No questions asked.

Yeah that was awful. I just haven't seen many games though with 55+ minutes of complete one sided domination, a ZERO QB rating for the first half for Russell Wilson, 5 turnovers and you still lose.

I mean that is just absurd beyond comprehension. I can't even wrap my mind around it.
Dum ass Pack shoulda coulda had an early 24-0 lead and dum ass morgan Burnett falling down after his INT with 5:04 left on the clock at his own 45 yard line you dum fck!

Talk about Mr Potato

He could have gotten a lot more yards out of that IMO which would have at least set them up in better field position.

Yep, especially considering how bad Seattle played and they couldn't capitalize on it. Instead, Seattle pulled their sh*t together towards the end and made it happen. You got to give them some credit for not going into a complete meltdown.

I'm embarrassed for the Packers and their fans right now. Last year was bad for us/the 49ers, but today's game trumps last year's by far.

I agree with you. An unbiased view I think would put at worse and maybe far worse.

Honestly I think it is one of the biggest meltdowns in NFL history in a very big game in the playoffs. I can't think of anything like it. It's just unbelievable.

I'm not a diehard Patriot detractor, I would be if it were the 49ers they were playing, but I will be rooting for the Patriots to beat the Seahawks in SB XLIX.
