Besides cheating, the absolute best move Belichick made since 2004 was signing Darrelle Revis (like I was screaming for the Niners to do). That was the signing of the offseason. He made up for trading away Richard Seymour, which may have cost him a SB in 2010.

That said, he's dirtier than children wearing Seahawk Super-Bowl-Champion t-shirts right now.

Where would this magical Revis signing money have come from? We're OTC as it is

Let's not forget Brandon Browner played a big role on that defense too. But yes I agree Revis was a move that needed to be made.

They could've made room for him.

If they would have made Kap prove it instead of giving him his we could have had Revis

Nope. The larger cap numbers from Kap's extension didn't kick in until 2015. His 2014 cap number was only $3.7 mil.

Kap's contract had nothing to do with not getting Revis. We didn't have the cap space to sign him, and even if we did there is no guarantee Revis would have chosen SF over NE. Given the outcome of this year's SB, looks like Revis made the right choice.

Check out this one-read QB

Its actually the corect read and lockett was open. Dude made a sick ass play because he spent extra time in the film room.

It's not a read, it's a play design. That ball was going to Lockett.

Butler just made a fantastic play. He actually says he got beat by the same play in practice. So unlike Allen Iverson, this guy learns from practice.

Steve Young was saying RW, when he saw the flash of color (butler), that he should have immediately targeted Lockette's back shoulder with his throw.

Yea. He should have, but Crabtree put it very eloquently: "oh well"

1) steve Young is right
2) the correct read is Lynch on the left, 1 on 1 vs a LB and Lynch already had him beat
Couldnt have asked for a better ending to a SB. Collectively breaking the hearts of all the bandwagon seahawk fans. Now we get to call them the "1-2's"
Gronk said on the Jimmy Kimmel show last night about the end of the game nearly full tilt brawl "someone pushed me or something, so I was like screw it I'm going to throw some hay makers." I have no problem with him defending himself at all especially since it was instigated by a bunch of fools.

It went from nightmare to dream scenario in one play.. couldn't get much sweeter. The biggest highlight is not having to listen to seahawks on sports radio & tv all summer.
