lol, good idea making our TE coach the DC
I hated this hire when it was made. This guy effin sucks. Easily the softest pass D in the nfl.
Wow a stop, but if you were watching even the commentators said it was a miscommunication between Palmer and the wideout.

Mangini is playing soft coverage. Doesn't want to prevent the big play and is giving up a lot underneath. The other side of what happened in PIT. This is what many of us wanted as an adjustment to what happened last week. The 4 man pass rush is crap and the coverage is toasted intermediate range.

No, what most of us wanted was for him to not put our safties at the line and then expect them to chase down world class speedsters like Brown and Bey. That's just a horrible game plan from the jump. Thats your defensive coordinator!!!
Before we BBQ Mangini...this game is 14-7 without the two pick sixes.

So now 17 points on interceptions.

Exactly! Arizona has dropped some easy ones too. Or how about the bomb that got called back in the first qrt? We are getting shredded beyond our talent level.

At least there wasnt much of a dropoff from fangio to mangini

huge drop off in talent along the front 7
and the secondary isn't buying in. brock isn't even trying out there.

Yet this team, with some similar players, played Top 5 D under Fangio when we were decimated on defense.

Mangini is a horrible DC, and never should have been given the job.
He needs to be fired, wideouts are like 7-11 ,they are always open, Fire this bum ,Mangini is HORRIBLE

Um, since this is a Mangini thread Id guess it was his fault right?

The defensive coordinator coordinates the defense. If they are uncoordinated I wonder who you blame for that?
