I feel really kinda dumb for actually thinking I was wrong about Mangini after the first game. Im now back to where I was...Mangini should be nowhere near this team.

This loss might not be his fault, but the only reason Palmer didnt complete every single one of his passes was because they were dropped or he just missed tye tgroq to n open receiver. Wide receivers were running open all day and all across the field. Wasnt he a secondary coach? The pick Palmer threw was just a terrible decision by him, but given how easy throwing the ball was against us I cant really blame him for taking the risk.

Everything Mangini has ever touched on this team has gotten worse.

s**tty game, no doubt. I'd still rather watch the coaches film and know exactly what went wrong, instead of ranting and raging with only half the story.

Kaepernick with s**t OL, guys in his face, throwing off his back foot for 2 pick-6's to start the game and Cards receivers running free with nothing but green around them. You're welcome.

I never thanked you.

lazy analysis is lazy

Actually it's pretty close to spot on.

Nah, not really. I was talking about the schemes, specifically the defensive coverage, and he starts going off about Kap, the offense, and what could obviously been seen on TV lol. Completely off-topic.
This game was on Kap no doubt. But playing our base defense continuously against 3 WR sets and having Reid or LBs covering Fitz in the slot just blew my mind
Kaepernick sucked but the defense and Mangini own this loss just as much as Kaep. 450 yards? Pathetic.

How did Mangini get this job? Certainly not by his work with the TE last year.

Losing Aldon Smith really put a dent in his plans.

Losing Willis and Borland set the defense back a bit more.

Having two outta three players mentioned would transform this defense pretty much back to it's old self.

I really wish they would bring in Dwight Freeney, this defense needs a spark.

Why not?

I'm game.

I remember saying the samething on the same day at the same time. It's like we read each other's mind. I'm not on the lets blame Kap wagon, he can't cover, tackle and sack the opposing offense too. Mangini sucked in NE and he sucks in SF

could there be any more primitive analysis ?

c'mon dude! Fangio had the same problem last year and we still finished top 5! Those excuses are BS it's part of the business. Just look at Mangini's track record of coaching to see how his defenses really fared. He sucked in NE when he was the DC for one season and he never improved.

Fangio had Culliver AND Cox, he also had Chris Borland who was also a quiet leader on the defense but lead with his play on the field. Let's not forget Fangio had a solid run defender on the D-line in Ray Mac.

That is a lot of talent on the defense that has left.

Btw Perrish Cox played a solid game yesterday, mirroring receivers and coming up with a INT, can't say the same for Brock or any of the DB's mirroring receivers.

Cully sucks and it show every week in Washington,Cox is solid but so is Brock in man coverage. Our corners aren't the problem it's the scheme. His scheme doesn't fit our personnel. Ray Mac and everyone you mentioned missed games for us last year and we still finished top 5. If you need further proof look at the Bears defense now versus last year. FANGIO.

I've always said we should have kept Cox and/or Cully. At least one.
