I'm shocked that this poll is virtually split. I thought we were in general agreement that Mangini should've been fired from what little power he had, not be given more.

Our D is so stacked that any one of us could coach it and it would still be good, so it's not like he'll be a disaster, but I don't like this one bit. And to think we might be pairing him on the other side with Kiffin. What will this do to our team chemistry?

It's almost like some of the "Niner fans" around here actually want the team to fail, isn't it? Some posters around here don't actually sound like Niner fans to me. And if it looks like a duck, sounds like a duck, etc.

Mangini being our DC when there is a guy like Wade Phillips unemployed is a major monumental mistake. This tool is going to suck as bad at being DC as he did at being a TE coach as he did and being a HC.

I think Vick went to jail for a longer period than all the DV cases in the NFL combined

Interesting, Wade Phillips is still unemployed though ELEVEN teams switched the DC?
