Those are the only two that stick out in my mind.
Things of beauty though! I'm sure b/c we didn't run many blitzes it totally caught the QB off guard. But you can just see how instinctual Bethea is to get around that would-be blocker...and Reid's timing always seems to be very good too...his play in the "pick-at-the-stick."
If I was Mangini I'd experiment a bit with these two and add that wrinkle in.

I can't get over the way Brees is whining to the refs here begging for a flag. Dude is ridiculous.

Get ready for some press coverage and a more diverse/complex scheme. Great interviews with Wright and Bowman:

All the more reason to allow coaches challenge for roughing penalties.
It's reached the point where I'm worried every time our defense gets a shot at the QB. You can't hit him high, you can't him low, and often times you can't hit him dead center either (see Nick Moody's hit on Russell Wilson).
The league doesn't know what it's doing, and QB's like Brees are actually shocked when the refs don't call a flag every time they get hit. They expect the wrong call to be made, and are mad when they don't get it lol.

Bree's wife makes him hold her purse when she's trying on clothes.

The one thing I think we'll see is, the players that have the best collective combination of understanding/performance playing within the new system/scheme will be the ones out there.
Mangini's system will heavily rely on intelligence first. These kids need to know their assignments. We have a ton of talented guys, but even with Fangio, talent wasn't enough for him. If he didn't think you "got it" -- you'd sit until you did.
I don't think much changes as far as how we go about getting the best players on the field and the most out of our defensive guys. We are very specific about coaching these guys to play WITHIN the system to maximize success. We'll see who comes out on top. Athletic gifts won't guarantee anyone a starter job in this group.

Perfectly stated.

hopefully the injury bug doesn't hit our defense, and allows Mangini to implement the things he wants to put in .. seems like he is working towards putting an aggressive but intelligent defense on the field, players have already said our defense is going to confuse the offense ...who knows? , this defense could be top 10 if we stay healthy and the younger players step up and learn the system and contribute ...I'm looking forward to seeing the new wrinkles on defense and what exotic blitz schemes Mangini throws at the offense

It sounds like he is big on creating pre-snap confusion as well. I like both...if run properly...proper timing.

I say "just stop them"...
... and start by stopping our rookie undrafted WRs, because they've been making headlines and plays... enough to ask if they that good or secondary just "confuse"??
