That's a little scary to know. With Fangio scheme u don't need to be locked in and focused to be a top 5 squad but u will with mangini's?
Is seattles scheme complex compared to fangios?
Thl where are you?!!
I'd say what SEA does with their defensive front is more complex. SEA uses a lot of hybrid fronts, meaning on any given play, some of the players are two gapping while some are one gapping. Their backfield coverage is not complicated. They will either play cover1 or cover3. They will pattern match with their LBs when in cover3.
Fangio did not play as many hybrid fronts, but his secondary coverage calls easily trumped what SEA does in terms of variety. If you check out the 'Coverages and Concepts' thread, you'll see I was able find almost every coverage call using the 49er defense.
Is their simple coverage because they have Earl Thomas and Sherman back there?
75% of their defense is pass rushing which they are good at. but they lost players and another is holding out. no pass rush no secondary can cover long amounts of time
I hope your right!!
Speaking of pass rush, I have a "feeling" ours might be fierce this year. At least I'm hoping it is.
I still feel that Seattle 2 years ago was better because they rotated there front D. They kept players fresh and there were able to keep going after the QB.
Let's hope we are relentless this year getting after the QB. I feel the D-Line/O-Line is what makes a team crank. I've always felt that way and i do not know why
Teams such as the jags Browns etc don't build from the trenches out?
Agree.
Our rotation looks VERY promising!
