Lets hope Mangini can gameplan against Wilson, Rodgers, Ben, Manning, and Foles. If we can get a couple of these games.......

I believe the poll was 45%-55%. So lots of crow needing to be served here. At least for this game.

Bowman was asked about the diff styles of Fangio and Mangini.
" (Mangini) makes the offense defend us vs we having to defend the offense"
I still have my doubts about this coaching staff, until there is some consistency...and against the better teams in this league, but hearing that from Bowman, is a real positive.

I only regret that we couldn't have seen what Mangini could do with a healthy Justin Smith and Aldon before he f**ked up.

100% spot on!
Changes in the philosophy on offense, defense and now, ST. That alone could end up being the difference.

My guess is that most of them are pretending they never felt that way.

Agreed. Watching Fangio's defense for 4 years was nice but watching an attacking style defense last night was beautiful. Guys flying around at all times with so much pre and post snap movements. Very nice

Ill admit i felt that way. I didnt like his track record as he didnt seem to add anything to the team. Putting him as a TE coach was one of the dumbest things a HC has done imo. I was worried about him as a DC. But now I can see what he brings to the table as a DC. I wanna see the D against a good offnse (Pitt) but ill happily eat crow.
Im not like these other posters. I dont like every decision thats made but im not gonna act like Im an expert or only show up when the team loses to talk s**t.

I don't think a lot of posters were opposed to the move, but the fans were upset that Mangini was hired because Vic moved on to another team. Vic was perhaps the best coordinator in the history of the 49ers and losing him was painful.
His track record has been very respectable and the reason why he was the TE coach so he can gain an offensive perspective and how offenses like to attack defense. Since he has that perspective on that concept, his defensive philosophy has changed significantly, and for the better. I didn't want Mangini as the defensive coordinator but he's doing a good job so far.

Lots of coaches have failed miserably and learned to be a better coach because of it. I think Mangini is one right now.
