I was laughing so hard. The Mrs and I just got done jumping up and down in joy which was perfectly capped by Sherman crying. Other than a 49ers win I can't imagine a more satisfying SuperBowl in a very long time.

Tom Brady is my new favorite non 49er, and this from a long time hater.

Feel better knowing he is a local boy and a niners fan…

Sucks he tied Montana, but if anyone was going to do it, it might as well have been the San Mateo native who idolized Joe and the 49ers growing up.

Yep. This is my feeling. It's not his fault 9ers passed I him. It would be like any of us 9ers die hards, winning a Super Bowl for any other team.

With due respect to Brady, he probably wouldn't have helped us much anyway. Rode the defense for a couple of years before he became the HOFer he is now. We couldn't have offered him that kind of support early in his career.

Yeah most likely wouldn't have helped. But, my point is, how can you really hate him for tying Joe(also his childhood idol)?

Anyone have a gif of the crew picking Revis off fit the Hawks TV? I swear I saw the ref stick his arms out to stop him? Revis instantly turned around and yelled at the ref?

You mean this BS right here?

Dude! He even threw a shoulder in there on that pick-play and extended the arms. Wow!!!!

There is no way that ref didn't know what he was doing. Those guys have been in goalline situations hundreds of times. They know what goes on there and what type of routes are run. Totally unacceptable to get in the way there. He knew exactly what he was doing, a*****e did it on purpose. The NFL is the shadiest of all the professional sports leagues.
What if Tom Brady decides to retire with a 49ers uniform!

It's shadier than futbol, Olympics, boxing, etc.
That ref does step foward about a yard, I wonder if that's the same ref that did not call that trip on that open seahag WR ....

He's a good quarterback but he's not elite or Top 5 yet like that garbage that some push claims. Its no surprise that his play picks up almost as soon as Lynch starts rumbling and gets the motor going. All he really needs to do is hit one or two of those downfield splash plays each game, run it a few times and then let the defense and running game do the rest.

anyone know what the Pats defense was ranked? and what was GB's defense ranked?

Is it me or doesn't the hobbit have all kinds of time in that pocket??? Seemed like it the entire game...

Well, maybe not that corrupt lol.

But out of the 4 major American sports, it's definitely the worst now.

He had a ton of time all game long. I thought the Pats were crazy for only rushing 3 or 4 men as much as they did, but they really seemed to trust their coverage down the field. There were a few breakdowns when Wilson scrambled, but overall the Pats did a nice job.

It sucks to lose...especially the SB. We felt it two years ago. There's so much arrogance among the 'Hawks it really detracts from how good of a team they are. They need some humility...maybe this loss is a step in that direction. Or not.
That fight at the end showed they are still trash

Will we see a fine and a suspension for Irvin? That was trash, a cheap shot punch from a crybaby loser but worse, on the NFL's premeir showcase at the Superbowl with the whole world watching. 9 million a minute for commercial air time. Aldon was suspended for 9 games so you would think this would garner at least 1 game suspended.

Great superbowl. We have the deflategate patriots against the most classless team in the entire NFL.

He got sacked 3 or maybe even 4 times...

No need to bring the house. I said before the game that it would come down to Lynch because Seattle's WRs are garbage and didn't have a prayer against New England's secondary.

If not for the ref gifting Seattle a TD no one is even talking about that last play.
