Email PFF and ask them why Goldson scores so poorly. Theyll answer you. I was in your shoes 3 years ago about Ahmad Brooks. I was sure he was a great player, and emailed PFF about why he was getting such awful grades. They emailed me back, laid out every reason, and I got owned. I had no comeback. Theyve done the scouting.

Like ive said a MILLION times anytime people want to cry about PFF (mostly because it makes their opinions look bad), its not 100% accurate. Nothing is. But its WAY more accurate than the next closest thing. This is a professional scouting system. The NFL itself recognizes it as legit.

When PFF says Goldson is a -66.0 career player, and some fan says hes great, because he watched him make plays, someone is wrong. -66.0 is damning. PFF is either totally off base, or the Goldson fanboys have NO idea what theyre talking about. Ill put my money on the scouts eye.

Totally agree...PFF is not bias and watch every single snap. It's not the end all be all but I'll take the word over someone who does grading as there job vs some fan lol.

And if people actually look at their stats there on point with who's on top, it's not like JJ watt isn't #1 or Antonio brown.

One of the worst safeties in the league last season, Goldson is owed $8 million in salary and bonuses. He will likely have to accept a straight pay cut to return. The Redskins should be looking for a higher-quality starter either way. Feb 11 - 11:26 AM

Goldson is a great tackle and hard hits better than Reid.. its all fact! I really miss to Goldson because he did our building good a defense at 2011 to 2013. He did a good time our defense. Miss you Goldson.

One's a starter the other is not coming back at his current salary...his not starter quality and hasn't been for a while.

Hall performed well after making the switch to safety late last season, and an offseason working at the position will only make him more comfortable. Coach Jay Gruden said he think Hall will "solidify himself as one of the top safeties in the league." The spot next to Hall remains an open question. Dashon Goldson is unlikely to return at his current $8 million cap hit, and he is not starter quality at this point in his career anyway. The reason it's 30 plus pages is because you have the same people that always hate on every player on SF commenting on it OR the same people hating on every single player Baalke has drafted...that's basically what this thread and many others have turned into... its pretty old and stale IMO.

If someone can't honestly see Reid is a better safety overall than Goldston then hey aren't being objective and have other motives.
