I can see him going to Dallas. Him and Jones could become some duo down the line.

I don't think Ramsey makes a great corner in the NFL so doesn't make sense to draft another safety.
This nor is CB a top need. We need OL, DL, OLB, WR and maybe even QB before we need a hybrid CB/S

If Ramsey makes it to 7, he'll get a long look. We're not in a position to pass up on a player who is by far the BPA. If Bosa, Tunsil, Goff, Buckner, Jack, and Stanley are gone, this is a no-brainer in my opinion unless we really like Wentz.
Tartt hasn't impressed and Reid is a couple concussions from retirement. Ramsey has more upside than anyone we have on defense (by far). Having Tartt on the roster won't prevent us from taking Ramsey. I also think he's a good enough athlete to play CB and we don't have an obvious #1 corner on defense currently.
If he makes it to 7, there's a decent chance we'll trade the pick because I'm sure other teams that need a safety would be interested in trading up. I just can't see us picking another player who is clearly not the BPA.

I hope we trade the pick if he makes it to 7. Tartt was solid, Ward looked great the 2nd half of the season and Reid is good enough. We also get Bethea back. There will be too many other quality prospects at positions of need for us at 7, guarantee it

I have to admit I would hate to be in the niners war room if Ramsey was there at 7 bc like you said the niners really do have great young talent at safety already and Baalke has been setting it up for 3 years to get like this..and honestly I'm sure a team that is in major need of an upgrade in the secondary would give up a lot to get Ramsey..but then again he is being compared to Patrick Peterson and how nice it would be to have a number 1 anchor our CB position for a decade and grow with young talented safeties..it would do wonders now and for the future and the pass rush..no one would be open..so me personally if I'm not blown away with the offers if Ramsey is at 7 then I take him and put him at CB..a future secondary of Ramsey,DJ,Ward as our corner backs with Tartt and Reid at safeties sounds amazing..

Ramsey is compared to Reid. Reid was playing similar to Ramsey for colleges.

Eric Reid or Ed Reed. He is very much like Ed Reed.

That secondary does sound pretty good but we need a pass rush bad. I think a pass rush helps the secondary slightly more than the secondary helps the pass rush. I understand they are essentially one in the same but a pass rush will make just about any secondary look good and it's not like we are depleted on the back end. If our current group had a solid pass rush in front of them, they would be fine without the addition of Ramsey. Fix the pass rush and you essentially fix the defense.

Solidified his status as a Top 3 pick. Will he go there, that depends on SD but he is certainly worthy.
