This makes the Rams look even more desperate. They just lost a massive amount of draft capital they could've used to build important areas where they're aging and/or faltering right now.

By my calculations, looks like the Rams will have close to 110 mil tied up in 5 players next year with no first round picks for the next 2 years either.....🤑🤑🤑

They send Peters to Baltimore, place Talib on IR and pimp the organization for Ramsey all in 24 hours?
Still going to suck
Still going to suck

If the offense can pull it together they will be dangerous in the playoffs for sure.
All that being said they gave up a s**t ton so they better hope it all comes together for this season. The NFC is tough.
Considering that Peter's was the reason we didn't blow the Rams out(27-7) and he didnt give up a ton of passes and was trading as the 7th best CB according to PFF, this is an odd move.
It wasn't like they just went from Greb Mabin to Darrell Revis.

They basically just threw a boat anchor on a luxury yacht that is taking on water.

I honestly think it's a good move for them. The meta is shifting to defense with the aging of some hall of fame qb's. They'll have a premiere defense for the next 5 years. They just gotta hope goff improves. I mean it's risky but f**k it, they have a new stadium Coming soon and need a good team.
They must have been looking at Goff on Sunday and were like we better build our defense. Lol

I hear you. I guess losing Talib sent them into panick mode? I would never give up two firsts for a disgruntled diva- and he's not even locked in for the future lol.Originally posted by jonnydel:Originally posted by Cisco0623:He's a great player and will certainly elevate their defense, but after the last few weeks if I'm a rams fan I'm more worried about the offense.

I do think he's significantly better than peters.

Why would he? The Rams can't afford to keep Fowler beyond this year now anyway. Lol

Yeah but half the field is now a no fly zone. Still a win to get a guy like that.
My ass lol we carved up Ramsey when jags came to sf
Yeah but Ramsey will shut down whoever he's defending.
are we NOT liking the trade because we didn't get THE best cover cornier in football??
the way I see it, the Rams saw that WE are a #1 WR away from dominating the WEST, and the risk of giving up two 1st rounders for him just solidify that they will have someone to cover THAT wideout.
I know this much, our HC just got a sudden headache on how to attack one side of the field ONLY because of Jalen.
LETS ALL KEEP OUR FINGERS CROSSED AND HOPE FOR THE BEST !!
The trade is dumb. We already proven that we have the answer to a hotshot CB...

The Rams do know that they can use those draft picks to actually draft players too right?
They use draft picks like grandmas use coupons at the grocery store

But they have no edge rusher beyond Fowler unless they put Donald at edge every game.Originally posted by T-9ers:I honestly think it's a good move for them. Getting Ramsey pretty much guarantees they lose Fowler and they wont be getting any help on the first round in that department for 2 years.

I look at it as they lose two 1sts a 4th and probably resigning Fowler, for Ramsey....outside of a stud QB no one player is worth that.
