Agreed.

Agreed.

I can't imagine McVay wanted this. This sounds like PSL bait.

I honestly think it's a good move for them. The meta is shifting to defense with the aging of some hall of fame qb's. They'll have a premiere defense for the next 5 years. They just gotta hope goff improves. I mean it's risky but f**k it, they have a new stadium Coming soon and need a good team.

They must have been looking at Goff on Sunday and were like we better build our defense. Lol
But they have no edge rusher beyond Fowler unless they put Donald at edge every game.

Getting Ramsey pretty much guarantees they lose Fowler and they wont be getting any help on the first round in that department for 2 years.

Losing Fowler, not to mention that Talib, Weedle and Matthews aren't going to hang in for 5 more years.

Got to find a new LT somewhere too.

Really? You don't think Sean had to say he wanted Ramsey and endorsed the deal? If he gets less respect than that, he better be asking Kyle for a job.
Something tells me those picks will be no worse than in the teens for the Jaguars.

I dont think gurley would be back unless he signs for a cheap deal

He just signed a huge new deal last year. They couldn't afford to cut him if they wanted to. He and Goff will be earning a combined $50+ mil next season.

By my calculations, looks like the Rams will have close to 110 mil tied up in 5 players next year with no first round picks for the next 2 years either.....🤑🤑🤑

This tells me Gurley is about to be cut sooner rather than later unless he takes a pay cut
That's a lot to pay for a CB who is going to be in land of distraction Lalaland. Of course I don't like it but I don't hate it either (speaking strictly for how it will effect the Niners)

They can't afford to cut him for at least two more seasons. Huge guaranteed money.

In a vacuum, I think Ramsey is easily worth two mid (20ish) 1st rounders. He's a stud CB that hasn't even entered his prime. But the Rams have big money tied up in Goff Gurley Donald and soon Ramsey will be the top paid CB. Teams with a big QB contract need impact players on rookie deals. Top heavy team will need cheap contributors. They better hit on those day 2/3 picks.
Great player but I think the Rams panicked and overpaid.

Yea i was just reading his contract. s**t his extension hasn't even started yet. Can't cut him til 2022. They gonna have to restructure based on good faith.
LOVE IT! Mortgage that future for a cornerback that is gonna want huge money. Rams! lol.
Does anybody have an explanation as to what the Rams are going to do about their OL? Their OL right now is basically Andrew Whitworth and then garbage. And Whitworth turns 38 near the end of the season and is on the last year of his contract.

So basically after this season, it looks like they'll have no OL, and no cap space or 1st round picks to build one. Am I missing something here?
Hope he's gonna play Left Tackle 😎
